Amazing-tasting and innovative food options, service ALWAYS with a smile and some cool events.
The owner even comes out to check on people and how they are, she’s also head chef!!!

We have been to The Axe and Anchor several times and the atmosphere has always been great and most of our meals, appies and drinks have been quite good but tonight I had the meatloaf and it was phenomenal!! Although my partner had finished his meal before I received mine it was 10/10 worth the wait. The roasted veggies, velvety mashed potatoes and meatloaf all complimented each other perfectly.
All I can say is WOW! What happened? It used to be a little pub that looked outdated and a little dingy but with decent greasy spoon grub. I am told new owners. Now I am pleased to report that it looks like it has been transformed into a fully modernized beautiful pub eatery. The staff was really welcoming, food was great, innovative and prices are on par or better than everywhere else in Western Canada.
