A&W Canada

Love A&W and the food. But for some reason this location has gone down hill in a major way. Everytime we go, they are out of a mainstay item. Today, they were out of gift cards, onion rings and multiple drinks. If this was a one of things or even a once in a while thing, I wouldn't be writing this. But unfortunately it's become a constant situation where everytime we go there is an issue, so this only leads me to believe it's a management issue. Should they improve, I will gladly update my review.

When I visited the main fountain pop machine that was accessible by customers was out of service so they gave me pop from the machine behind the counter. After I sat down to drink it I noticed that it wasn't very carbonated so I went back up to get a different pop and it was also not carbonated. The carbonation in the last remaining machine was broken. They didn't seem fazed by this in the slightest and got a replacement lemonade which I guess is fine.

I am giving lower stars because I shouldn't have to drink pop to find out that the machine is broken and they should let me know in advance.

Food was good, restaurant was clean.
Used the family washroom and on a cold Dec morning, the 30 plus degree temp in there was absolutely lovely! I double checked to see if the seat was heated. It wasn't, it was just that warm.
I'll definitely come back!

I go to the Freemont location frequently. The manager knows what she's doing. Today I had the pleasure of being waited on by Keira. It was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. She was kind, accommodating, knowledgeable, and hard working. So nice to see a young woman who makes sure her guests are well served. Thank you Keira and Ranjit.

It was one of the best A&W branches I came to. Very clean and breathless. 🌸
The cashier, Mr. Nikan, was very friendly and warm, and I have never seen such a good cashier in any other A&W branch. 🥰
The manager of this branch is very lucky to have these good employees. 🤩👌🏻

I travel all over lower mainland for a and w locations. Coquitlam, port coquitlam, metrotown, north van vancouver, w. 4th in west end, park royal..locations. the prices for all Canadian with small coffee is around under $13.80 with taxes included. Some places are lower than others. For example at metrotown and w.4th, they are under$13.00 including taxes.
When I went to Fremont village, I was shocked how much they charge for all Canadian breakfast. The sign says around $14.65 plus small coffee. Which ends up around over $16.00. Is this for real? This location should find out what other locations charge.. $3 to $4.00 difference is lot of money.

Extremely fast and good.
They made the food so quickly, they gave my glass to fill the pop, and I had just finished filling my cup, after they called me and the entire meal was ready. burger was assembled very carefully and perfect. Fries were extremely hot and fresh. Even the washroom and dining area were very clean. They are doing a good job here.

Been here 3 times in the past week (and I don't even live close by). This is by far THE BEST A&W I've ever been too. They set the bar too high I won't even go anywhere anymore.
Great friendly staff. Great food (they can really do the eggs the way you wanted which is rare even in high end restaurants). You can even substitute the meat or bread with another kind, including pancakes. They also have fresh baked pastries from Pret and they were GOOD! Highly recommended.

🐹🐭I observed at the "A&W" restaurant that mice were moving around in the kitchen, and the sanitary conditions were very concerning. Mice were everywhere, which could lead to serious hygiene issues. I recommend being cautious if you plan to eat at this restaurant and pay close attention to cleanliness.

Be careful when you want to eat here. There were mice everywhere!
