I was so excited about this place as there aren’t a ton of diverse NA options at the regular shops. I’m a beer drinker and had a few in mind that I haven’t been able to find. The woman that runs the place was working. She didn’t seem to know much about NA beer brands - hadn’t even heard of Best Day or the others I asked about. Had very strong opinions though and was very much not interested in having a conversation, just talking at me about how myself and everyone else that comes in to buy NA beer and wine are wrong. According to her darker beers are easy to replicate and lagers are more difficult (?!) which is not a commonly held belief in the NA communities but ok… I would have liked to find out why she thinks that but it was very much a one sided conversation, I got cut off when I tried to ask or add anything.
I should note that I was the only customer in the place and she hadn’t been busy when I entered, so it wasn’t as though she was rushed or I’d caught her at a bad time.
I left disappointed but I waited months to post, thinking I’d try again later and see if my next experience was different. Maybe someone other than her would be working or maybe she would have received feedback from others, done some self reflection, and changed. But, I can’t justify driving all the way out there again. They did have two beers from England that were new to me that I enjoyed, but they were sold as singles and were pricey. In fact, everything appears to be sold as singles so there’s no way to stock up. It’s fine if you just want to try a rare beer as a one off, but not if you want to actually stock up on beer to enjoy at home.
I guess I’ll stick to one of their competitors (she recommended the one on Commercial Drive, but said she wouldn’t mention any of the others as there was bad blood there. Very very bizarre individual, I did not ask for any of these opinions). Long story short, not for the feint of heart, especially if you are an NA beer drinker.

The staff here are super friendly and really knowledgeable about their products! They were able to provide tastings for several of their products and it really helped me choose bottles I knew I would enjoy!

Haven’t been there in about 5 months, and actually on my way there. First time I went I was greeted by the sweeter lady that ever graced this country. She was helpful, shared some fun and good stories. The selection kept getting better as I am a fan of the taste but can’t drink it due to religious reasons. Safe to say I hope this store stays in business.

I came to a networking event. What a great business. I had 3 delicious martinis and I drove home safe and woke up with no hangover. I love the idea of a non alcohol bar. I highly recommend this place for a night out with friends.

Nice shop with lots of non-alcoholic options, glasses, mixers, etc., as well as a coffee bar, a cocktail bar, and board games. And the owner is very nice!

Just spent a lovely time at Bevees. My Black Devil cocktail was delish and my husband's hot chocolate with Irish Cream was the same.friendly knowledgeable staff and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend if you want the flavours without the alcohol.

If you are new to alcohol free beverages this is the place to check out. The associate took the time to sit us down and explain their three sip rule and the alcohol removal process, and we sampled three delicious wines. Brilliant! He helped us to pair a Divin Sauvignon Blanc with the Paneer curry dish we were planning this evening and it was perfect. Thank you, we will defiantly be back. Highly recommend Bevees.

A tasting bar to decide on options with the helpful guidance of the owner. A unique and wide selection of non alcoholic drinks. Afternoon beer that doesn’t dope you out by dinner. Hard to find wines that actually taste good with less calories and no driving concerns. Worth checking out.

From really good 0% alcohol wine and beer, to great cocktail mixes and all the bar equipment you could need, this is a great store. It is also a great 'local' for hanging out in, listening to great live music, learning a new cocktail (alcohol-free) and relaxing with food from a few nearby restaurants. I have used this for a drink between errands and as an event space for a brunch with friends. 😎

As a newly sober individual this place has been a staple in my life. The staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They assisted me with picking up the correct ingredients for a specific mocktail. I've also enjoyed two mocktails at there lounge, a whiskey sour and a lime margarita, both enjoyable. It was chill enough where I could enjoy my drinks and read my book. I'm interested in trying out one of their events such as trivia night.
