Cobs Bread Bakery Oxford Market

I went to grab a cinnamon bun, and to my disgust, there were small flies all over them. When I pointed it out to the staff, the woman behind the counter casually admitted, “Yes, I know, flies are everywhere and we can’t do anything about it.” Seriously? If you’re okay with flies on your food, maybe this is the place for you. But if you expect basic hygiene, avoid it. No thanks.

I don't recommend their mini cinnamon rolls. According to the printed date, they were made the same day, but they were very dry. It seemed as though they had been rolled too loosely to make them look bigger, but for their size, they felt very airy and light. As a result, all the outer layers were crusty and dry. They also don't put much icing on top. I should have just bought the gourmet rolls from Save On or Safeway

Always bought the chesse pullapart , but this time when bought it , no cheese inside it. Very2 little. Not like before.

I came by half an hour to closing and the pastries were put on a rack behind the counter so I asked if it was ok take a step forward to see what they had available before purchasing and was told its ok by the the staff member that was attending to me; however, another employee very rudely walked by and told me I can’t step over the line to see. I should be able to see what i am purchasing, so maybe next time place the rack on the front counter for the customer? She had the meanest look on her face and made me feel very unwelcome even as I was leaving. I did end up making a purchase; but do not plan on returning to this location again. Bad customer service.

Always on the hunt for good German Rye Bread. At Cobs on Oxford it's the best in my opinion. Love the crunchy crust. Perfect with just a little butter or cheese!

Always friendly staff. Great bread and goodies. I just tried their hot cross buns and they were jammed with fruit and wonderful spices. Also their danish are to die for.
