This place is garbage. Ordered chicken soup , they sent a watery concoction of onions , carrots and celery. Not a single bit of chicken in 2 servings. Despciable third rate joint.

I love the De Dutch Chain. They have some of the best thin pancakes out there. This location however is not as great as the other locations. First, it is hard to get someone’s attention to get seated when you arrive as no one is at the front. After waiting at the front for quite a while I actually just walked into the restaurant and found a server myself to let them know I was there in order to be seated. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious like all other locations. As seen in the photos, my bratwurst was on the more burned side of things and mostly black while the pancake I got was so thin in certain spots it was like paper while other spots were thick with borderline cooked batter in the middle so it was not evenly cooked or spread.
The interior of the restaurant is super nice and bright. The service, once you got it, was good but they don’t ask you about de Dutch membership points when you pay so I didn’t get to collect them, you must remember this and tell the server this yourself which I forgot to do. Other locations ask if you have it when you pay.

We throughly enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice. It was so tasty! My girlfriend’s food was more on the cold side. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which was piping hot and yummy until something appeared in my mouth I couldn’t chew. :/

Best Dutch pancakes in BC. Thicker than a crepe and thinner than an Canadian pancake. Add some other non-Dutch items like hash browns, poached egg, bacon, mushrooms and you’re stuffed for the day!

De Dutch in PoCo is a fantastic place for breakfast or brunch. Our family often pops in spontaneously, and we've never been disappointed. Staff are welcoming and kind.
This weekend, I tried the Banana Walnut Pannekoek. It was great - balanced sweetness and satisfying textures. I'd definitely order it again.

A friend brought me here for breakfast. It's wasn't where I would have chosen but any preconceptions were all wrong. We got great service (professional, polite, friendly and sense of humour), the place was bright and very clean, and the food was great! I had hash and poached eggs medium (no pancake) and it was excellent. Perfect in fact! Okay, so the view outside was a car park, but who cares when your breakfast is this good?
