She was curt and dismissive so we decided to leave and fine somewhere more hospitable. Hugely disrespectful considering we have been going to the Coquitlam location for some time.

Don't come here for your birthday breakfast, it's a letdown!When you sign up you get an email 3 months! after you sign up so it's good for your birthday ***for the next year***I did call the day before & asked if I had to come in on my birthday & I heard "it's good for 3 months"So I come the day of & let my waiter know right away it was my birthday, & spoke to the manager 2x, & I wish I had just got up & left. Even if I did get up to leave, my son would've made a scene so I didn't. Wish I hadn't felt cheap, even though on the menu it's $3 if you want just hot water & lemon! My son's fries were a tad greasy, & not a handful of mushrooms in my mushroom, de bakon & cheese pannekoek, but I did get an extra tomato slice & lots of de bakon. A good thing was I came after lunch, so I got a booth for sure, & it was quiet, staff are cleaning & the orange juicer for the kids is already offSo stick with Denny's! Can't go wrong with them, get your bday breakfast on your bday with showing your id

Came here for brunch, was craving a good crepe and boy did they deliver! Crepes were light, filled plenty, great ingredients and delicious! I ordered a cheeky baileys coffee which was somewhat a disappointment, it was very watery, had no whipped cream on top, and lacked coffee taste. It seemed very watered down. But then I ordered an espresso martinis and that was perfect! I should’ve started with it!Staff are friendly, attentive, they repeated our order back to us to make sure our modified order was correct and brought our food promptly. Overall it was a good experience.I particularly liked the solarium dining area as you could enjoy the warmth of the sun without feeling the chill of the wind. They also have an outdoor patio for warmer months.
Was surprised, on a Sunday, it took almost an hour and a half to get our meal.As much as I want to make excuses for why, two tables that were bigger, and came in/ordered after us (us, a table for two), were served well before us.

I was there last Saturday to enjoy my free bday treat. The food was good as always, but what made this a 5 star location was the service. Reina (I believe that was her name) was so friendly, very smiley... She was just amazing! She deserves all the tips!
