Eastern Pearl Seafood Restaurant

Absolutely pathetic. We ordered KungPao Chicken as takeout . The dish was $28. When we opened it all we could see was celery and peppers. The celery you see in the first picture is only a quarter of the total celery- so imagine what the dish would be like.

Servers are very rude and service is very bad. They have the audacity to demand big tip and embarrass customers speaking loudly to add more for tip. The meat are not good quality. Food is salty and use of msg, I was thirsty after lunch.

I would like to review the Eastern Pearl seafood restaurant in Port Coquitlam.

We ordered a small size of crab and corn soup, shumai, pan fried shrimp and chive dimsum, rice flour roll with prawn and steamed gailan.

Soup: It was a huge portion with lots of crab meat in it. It was very well balanced, not salty at all. Very delicious. After 5 helpings of soup, we had half the bowl left to take out.10/10

Dimsum: All dimsum we ordered today were phenomenal. The best dimsum I had in all of Vancouver. The portions were huge, with lots of ingredients in it. They were all seasoned well and not too salty. All of them were 10/10

Service: 5 servers were continuously walking around tables, checking what customers needed. We felt well taken care of.

Overall: I will revisit here 1000%. Best dimsum restaurant I ever visited. I recommend to everyone.

Great place to get dim sum. Went in at 10am when they open. Thankfully we had reservations done as we were a big party. Food was good. Came piping hot and forks were offered to younger kids on staff's initiative.

Too hungry and started eatting. Pricing was quite decent. Did not had to break the bank for this.

Parking shared with mall. Some of the lots have 1hour limit parking. So be mindful where you parked.

Food was good. Service is typical of a busy Chinese restaurants but the servers were very polite. Bonus is excellent (meaning lots) of parking.

1st time here. Dim sum size is crazy big. Pan shrimp and shiu mai is double bigger than regular size.

Great food

I am very disappointed with how I was treated today. My mom, sisters and I had a reservation at 12:00. We got to the restaurant and it was obviously busy but the service was truly barbaric. We waited for a half and hour before leaving the restaurant because we were never seated, even though we had a reservation. To top of the mistreatment, others were being seated before us whom did not have reservations. Would have loved to try the food but definitely never coming back again!

This is one of the best dim sum places in the area; our family loves this place and will come back again!

Went here for dim sum.
There was a piece of crab shell in my steamed tendon (maybe contamination from the garbage)?
Hair was in the steamed shrimp dumpling wrapper skin.
Another strand hair was in my steamed chicken feet.
Asked for my whole meal to be comped, they denied my request. No exaggeration, the worst meal of my life.

This place does not disappoint! It is on the pricier side but the quality of food is worth it.

I usually come here with my family, but today I brought my little one out for lunch, and the service was amazing! The staff is always great, very friendly and they care about their customers. They are always good to us whenever we come here. I can't wait to come back! Thank you for the wonderful experience, especially with my little one and I today! You guys went above and beyond, thank you to the servers! 🫶 great customer service always!
