This place isn't fancy or trendy but their pastries are delicious and affordable. Of all the things we've tried my favorite so far is their Portugese egg tarts.
The staff working there have also been friendly and patient every time we have visited.

This used to be our go-to for great bakery and deli products. We went by last weekend and we are really disappointed. The quality of the deli meats has diminished, the Mortadella tasted like salt, the cervalat was really fatty - more than usual. All former staff were not there. A simple lemon layer cake was not worth $38.! Sadly we need to now find a new privately owned local deli and bakery.

Have been there many times over the years went in Port Coquitlam but this is the first time that the donuts seemed they were pre-made. The underside seemed soggy as if they were pre cooked and stored.

I have lived in Poco for close to 20 years and Europe Bakery has always been my go to for donuts, bread, buns and sweet treats. Their product is superb, prices can't be beat, and the staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. Go there any day of the week and you will see how popular it is. I would like to commend the new ownership for keeping their products same affordable price and for ensuring that popular favorite items are always avaialble. They have added new items like ciabbata bread, caramel seasalt donuts, and the ever popular 'Homer' donut. These new additions are DELICIOUS and a great compliment to their already stand out baked goods. I hope Europe Bakery is around for another 20 years - its a PoCo Institution!
