Clean, food was good, we highly enjoy five guys. What made today great was the gentleman working the counter around noon today. He was very pleasant to talk too and really good at his job. He's truly a 5 star employee.

What has happened to 5 Guys? I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger, fries etc. The beef patty was about 2 inches long and shaped like an oval. It took up exactly 1/3 of the bun. At other locations you get a FULL size meat patty that is in proportion to the bun. Is Wendy's the only burger place left that isn't cutting corners? Save your money - skip the new Coquitlam location. Instead go to the South Surrey location where you leave full instead of still hungry. Food and inside restaurant are both very cold. Not impressed.
Very busy place. Burgers weren't as ordered but they tasted good. It was too busy to complain. Fries are plentiful and really good. Like I said, it was very busy and with that comes screaming kids running around.

the skinny female server with glasses was the most unpleasant staff we’ve ever dealt with. it was our first time at five guys, so we tried to ask a few simple questions, but her attitude was so unfriendly that leaving a tip was simply impossible. the store wasn’t even busy at the time, which made her behavior even more unacceptable and hard to understand.
while we were eating, she started sweeping the floor loudly right next to our table, creating dust and noise. we told her we were still eating and asked if she could do it later, but she didn’t even look at us and just walked away without saying a word. it was extremely rude and made the entire experience uncomfortable.
the large fries were completely soggy and already cold when served. the burger also tasted really bland, enough to make us feel sick afterward.
this was the worst five guys experience we’ve ever had, and thanks to that, we probably won’t ever return to five guys again.
Five Guys Coquitlam Review – Delicious Burgers & Fries! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Wow, the burgers at Five Guys in Coquitlam are fantastic, and the fries are super fresh 🍟! I was pleasantly surprised by how juicy and flavorful everything was. The service was quick and friendly, and the free peanuts are a fun touch! It’s clear why this place is always busy – the food is top-notch. My kid loved it so much they’re thinking about applying for a job here, which speaks to the great vibe of the place. One small note: the fries are so good they even taste amazing cold and reheat to near-perfection in an air fryer. I’m guessing it’s because they’re made fresh daily. Can’t wait to come back with the family for more of the tastiest fast food we’ve had in a while! I’ll share some photos and videos from our next visit. Highly recommend!

Food taste wasn't bad. It's just the way they prepare and packed the burgers that is not done nicely. With ingredients sticking into the foil/wrapper instead of being tucked neatly between the bun. It reflects a lazy way of doing things.
