We came to this restaurant at 8:43 pm expecting to enjoy dinner, as they clearly advertise that they close at 9:30 pm. However, the staff refused to let us dine in. This felt unwelcoming and very disappointing, especially since we come here often and we already knew what to order to make it fast before the last call. Unfortunately, this experience has put us off from coming back or recommending this place to others.

Just adding to this review that for a second time I did not receive ginger or wasabi. I called the establishment but was not offered a solution. I will not be ordering from Sushi On again! Just received a delivery order thru door dash. Did not receive chopsticks, ginger, Wasabi or soya sauce. Called the restaurant. Apparently now you have to order it. Hmm I was not prompted to order when I placed the order. Sushi without Wasabi, ginger, soya sauce. 0/10, and the sushi itself was awful too. Will not order from here again. Good luck with that!

When I called your establishment last night to let you know I was missing condiments, instead of telling me you will deliver them to me as they were completely forgotten on your end, I was told that I did not order condiments, and if I want condiments I have to specifically ask for Wasabi, ginger, and soya sauce.

Sushi On use to be our go to sushi place for dine-in & takeouts. However, recently I have noticed the standard of food slipping from good to average. Even the takeout is not ready at the time they give you to pickup. Last night I was called to pick up my takeout order after 40 minutes. When I arrived after 40 minutes, my order was yet not ready. I had to wait for another 40 minutes for my pickup order.
Waiting 1 hour 20 minutes for a sushi order is unacceptable. Moreover, the sushi rolls were also substandard. They were just crumbling and falling apart when picked up by chopsticks. Please get your act together by paying attention to quality and delivery timings. On my next visit, I hope to see your food quality back to where it use to be. Also have the pickup order ready as close to the time given to customers when taking the order.

Their vegetarian sushi options are absolutely the best I’ve ever had. I will not order sushi from anywhere else. My husband also loves their sushi and he’s not vegetarian.

Always fresh fish! We’ve never had a bad experience here. The atmosphere is more inviting than almost all other sushi houses I’ve been to in Vancouver. Staff are friendly (some newer ones take a long time to notice you & take the order.) but the older ones are super kind. Overall, this place has been our go-to for a few years now.

Overall the sushi is average but good enough. The sashimi bento box had a nice variety of foods and the portions were good. The tempura is a bit on the more oily side and the sushi rice is on the drier side here and a bit too hard for my liking. The salmon skin in the BC roll was not crispy and there could have been more. It’s okay and not bad.

I order here all the time! So worth it! As someone with allergies I get super anxious ordering from new places but this is my go to! Everything is always packaged nicely and the food is amazing. Love this place
Our group ordered a variety of dishes to suit our individual tastes. This was our first time eating here but our friends have come often. We all were highly satisfied with the quantity and quality of the food. The sashimi pieces were larger than expected and the Lion King roll that was recommended to us was delicious.

Food is just amazing! I got so full, and I especially enjoyed the Aloha roll here at Sushi On in Fleetwood! The people here are also the sweetest and are really polite and made me feel welcomed. If you haven’t tried sushi at Sushi On yet, you definitely should!

Would recommend. Have hit up 4-5 different sushi places in Pitt and poco now and sushi on was the best. Fresh, decently priced, not overly fishy on the imitation crab. They have a good tray for 34$ that I got. Happy with the deal. They said 55 mins but made it quicker. I am happy with the food and price point. Choose these guys
