The food is very good and the 1 person combo is a lot of food. I definitely will be eating here more frequently.

Delivery was late, food lukewarm and overpriced. Will not be ordering from here again.
Just picked up dinner for 2.. spent $45 noodles.. ok but bland and sweet and sour pork so hard .. not edible.. and so much batter..
when I called to say it’s not fresh.. they say we will remind kitchen.. no customer service.. go elsewhere

By far the best sweet and sour pork and squid in Vancouver. The restaurant is very simple and contrasts with the excellent food, which in all the dishes I have been able to try, are simply delicious!! Friendly attention and very reasonable prices!

My family felt it was too hot in the house last night to cook, so we decided to try this restaurant that we've walked past for 20+ years but had not tried. We are so glad we did! Shanghai Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) are difficult to do properly, and Happy Chinese Restaurant makes surprisingly authentic ones--complete with house-made ginger-vinegar sauce. If you like mushrooms, the Chicken with Mushroom stir-fry dish offers plenty. We had requested reduced MSG and oil and the chef did an excellent job with our food, which also included Shanghai Style Fried Thick Noodle and Honey Garlic Beef. The ingredients were of high quality, the flavour was pleasing and the texture was just right. We noticed that most of the restaurant's business was take-out (we were the only dine-in patrons at about an hour before closing), which is a shame as the service and presentation are excellent. Although the dining room does not have air conditioning, it is cool and quiet with simple yet modern decor and furniture. It was also nice to dine at an establishment with modern porcelain dinnerware as opposed to the plastic dishes that some places use nowadays. I recommend people try dining-in at this hidden gem on the north side of Port Coquitlam.

Disappointed. Ordered the dinner for 2 and received the smallest portions ever.
Best chicken balls and egg fried rice I’ve had in a long time.

I ordered chicken balls from this place on Uber eats and the meat looked mainly cooked ? but the texture felt fleshy when biting into it and chewing it. I went to bed hours later and woke up sick and threw up. I'm pretty sure it was from that.

The waitress is very nice, patient and polite. However, the dishes were just average IMO.
