Hearthstone Pizza

NOTE: New name is Roseto Hearthstone Bistro and inhave copied this review there. The food at this small, unassuming Korean/Italian fusion restaurant is absolutely amazing. Every single thing we had was incredible. And we are pretty fussy. The service is far and away the best we have had. The server even remembered us and what we liked! We started with mussels in white wine and garlic, perfectly plump, steamed and delicous. Next we shared a ceasar salad which was super fresh tasting and very good. I had the Kimchi Fettucine which I literally dream about. Don't let the idea put you off, it is rich and creamy with just enough spice and packed full of the best umami with kimchi, bacon, mushrooms and garlic. My partner had the seafood fettucine but asked for white sauce instead of red and the seafood was cooked exactly how it should be and loaded with prawns, squid, mussels and scallops, the sauce was so good you would slurp it up with a spoon but instead we used the yummy foccacia bread served with the pasta, which was fresh and perfectly al dente. We ended the meal with decaf espresso poured over rich vanilla ice cream in adorable old fashioned tea cups. The price was very, very reasonable with the pasta dishes in the low $20 mark and the portions are not small! They are not very busy as they have not been open for long under this new banner so I sure hope they pick up because they are easily one of my favorite Tricity restaurants!

I am only going here from now on for pizza! Simply one of the best fusion korean pizza places going. The Bacon Potato pizza is amazing.
New chef and staff here and the quality has also gone up considerably since this resteraunt opened. The original owner made renovations here and it is definitely for the better!

Previously, I went in the afternoon and there was a long wait so I couldn't eat right away, but today I went during opening time and luckily I was able to eat right away~~♡ Thanks to the Korean owner who was so friendly, the time waiting for the pizza was even more enjoyable^^ My daughter likes sweet potato pizza, so I ordered sweet potato pizza. It was packaged and I ate the thin pizza, and it tasted really great because it was baked right in the oven!!^^ It was so delicious that I ate it all without any hesitation haha. Thank you so much to the owner who prepared the delicious pizza with so much care~~^ ^ I slightly warmed up the packaged sweet potato pizza in the air fryer and my daughter was happy and said it was really delicious. ^^ I will come back often~~^^

I ordered Gold Rich Pizza and was surprised by the texture of the cheese, so I saw that they added cheese without any hesitation. Cheese.
It's my first time seeing such a thick pizza. The pizza is so delicious. I've been eating Domino's Pizza Maru all the time, so this was my first time here, and it was the most delicious pizza I've had in Vancouver.
The hot dog they gave us was the chewiest on earth.
I think the pizza dough and bread here are really good.
The quality of the hot dog service is this... …

We just had a plain cheese pizza, but it was really delicious! The thin crust was amazing - tasted like the best homemade - and it had plenty of delicious cheese. Friendly service too. I look forward to trying Korean-style pizza next time!
