Tasty, fresh, and affordable sushi. It’s been our sushi place for the past 8 years and it’s been great every time 🍣

Twice now, ( we are local business and haven’t ordered much from Hiro Sushi for a couple, three years. Co-worker ordered ‘tuna maki’. The first complaint is the co-worker from 3 mos ago) had to spit it out!! The second was a woman who vomited within 1 hour of eating the tuna maki and there was also a large(ish) flat bone in it.
Gross!! A good experience will tell 2 people….a bad one will tell 12. Smarten up Hiro. This a very bad review, but I want to protect the wellness of the people I care about.

The food is very good and reasonably priced. This is our go to place!!

One of the things we ordered was the Karage Nugget they were disgustingly salty. Waaaaaaaaaay to much salt so bad that I am giving one star even though the order was ok except for the meal ruining disgustingly inedible salt nuggets. How does this even happen. They are usually a little too salty but this was next level. Gross. Ruined my meal

Five stars for what it is, a hole-in-the-wall, unassuming neighborhood with tasty food, nicely prepared, good proportions and friendly service. This is where you go if you live nearby or you want to explore a bit. Honest food, good prices and friendly owners behind the counter

My dinner: unagi rice bowl, unagi cone and black dragon role.

Three stars for atmosphere because it has none, so don’t want to suggest it has a vibe. It’s got all the vibe of a coffee shop in the bottom of an office tower in the 1970s. It’s functional. Not a knock against it at all.

we read the reviews before eating their food, it came and we stayed positive about the food, when the food came, it looked fine, we ordered tuna and rice separately and they gave us a tuna sashimi roll, the rice was EXTREMELY sticky and vinegary, the sushi was cut into such big pieces, it was EXTREMELY fishy its stunk, while eating it literally activated our gag reflex and made us feel sick we couldn’t finish it, there was a review about the soy sauce being overly salty and it’s true, the only good thing about our order was the cucumber maki, never ordering again waste of our money i don’t recommend

If you read Fraser health inspections of hiro sushi
5 times they failed big time
This is proof
Inside of bathroom is messy and a dump
Food takes like shit
If you read fraser health restaurant inspection they found lots of rodent and mouse dropping all in kitchen which means lots of mice in kitchen ---go read these reviews online

We love mango cream cheese and avocado cream cheese roll. My daughter is a big fan of this restaurant.

Had a bad feeling about this place but my buddy insisted it was good so I took the shot.

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Better off starving yourself. Lol

The woman at the counter just stares are you while you eat and gives you bad looks.

Also found hair in the rolls. Never coming back here

We have been regular customers at this restaurant, but our last two experiences have been disappointing.

Dine-In: During our recent visit, the fish was not fresh, and our plates were dirty. We had to ask for clean ones, and even then, the waiter insisted they were fine until I wiped one with a tissue to show her the spot of dirt. The pickled ginger was inedible—very bitter—which affected the taste of the sushi pieces nearby. Surprisingly, they only addressed the ginger and not the inedible sushi! They also forgot one of the rolls we ordered, and when we inquired, the waitress claimed we hadn't asked for it.

Takeout: We called around 8:30 PM, half an hour before closing, and were informed they would only accept cash since the cashier was closed. We ordered about $55 worth of food, which was ready in 15 minutes. However, except for one roll, the rest was awful. The fish tasted off and smelled really bad, and the pickled ginger was bitter again. We ended up throwing most of the food away. The few bites we had was enough to make us both feel sick. Tribble stomachache!

The next day, I spoke with the lady behind the counter about our experience. She seemed rushed and didn’t let me finish my explanation, offering a $5 discount coupon for our next visit. When I expressed my concerns about the quality of the fish, she dismissed them, saying, "No, the fish is good here... okay, we’ll talk to the owner!" I tell you what, the owner is behind all of this to save cost!

As loyal customers who love supporting local businesses, we are disappointed. This was our favorite sushi restaurant, but we can’t return after these experiences.

0 stars for customer service and 0 stars for food quality! We won’t be back.

Terrible. Virtually inedible. Not fresh at all and made my stomach feel off. Will be throwing most of it away.
