Always very good food and service!

Lovely place for a breakfast

I ordered a typical Breakfast , Eggs, Bacon Hashbrowns and Toast. Yahoo I know I should have ordered Pancakes given it's IHOP. Lol

I like my eggs Sunny side up. I routinely ask the waitresses if I should be worried about the underside being burned from the grill being too 🔥. If that's the case I just get them over easy.

The Waitress said they will be fine and you know what if they are not I will get you a new pair.

I thought that was an awesome deal. She was very nice and understanding and got 5 stars.

Ok you guessed it , they were burnt to oblivion. The egg white part was not even cutable unless you used a knife.

True to her word I had an over easy pair of eggs in minutes. She was so surprised about the eggs as well.

Hash and Bacon were 5 stars.

That's my IHOP Port Coquitlam experience.

Always a good experience!

This was not a good experience. The server got orders wrong, didn't bring everything that was included in the order, still got charged for the wrong order, which we had to ask to be corrected.
I got a breakfast burrito that was dripping with grease.
Even though we pressed the no tip option, we got charged 20% by the machine. The server had to refund in cash. Don't think I'll be going back.

IHOP is THE BEST in Coquitlan area.

The food is the best part of IHOP, for the service, there is often long lines and rushed orders; you can expect to have your order misdone at least once. The atmosphere is often crowded, bright and in my opinion unwelcoming.

Kid-friendliness: It's very kid friendly, in fact, I would bet money there is a kid inside right now at any moment.

The staff are very young and inexperienced. I appreciate their effort, but there needs to be someone with authority guiding them to provide a better customer experience. The food is what you'd expect from an IHOP.

IHOP has really gone down hill food wise! They recently changed their menu AGAIN. This time they took off the berry salad They have very few really healthy choices on the menu! The TWO for One Seniors is NOT a true 2 for 1! .
ONLY $12 OFF! AND you have to buy a drink! My steak looked like they boileded it or steamed it. They didn't even put it on the grill. YUK!! EGGS placed medium came to the table with runny whites. Location Coquitlam BC
No way to contact them online, the site kept shutting down. Used to love IHOP.
So sad!
