This place has the best Ice cream in town. We went with couple of friends and we got surprised by how tasty the ice cream tastes. So delicious thank you

The staff are amazing — they even let us sample the flavours before deciding what to buy. They were incredibly patient and helpful throughout. The portions were generous, and for the price, the quantity is honestly unbelievable. I thoroughly enjoyed the taste as well. I’d strongly recommend this place; in fact, I keep finding excuses to go back to that side just to get their gelato.

We visited Matteo’s Gelato as part of a school collaboration where the kids had tickets, and it was the perfect stop after bowling in PoCo. All the kids enjoyed their gelato, and the shop itself is so cute and welcoming. The gelato was delicious, and it’s wonderful to have a place like this in our small town — a sweet spot that makes everyday outings feel special.

My son and I came for a late Sunday night treat. Got 2 small gelato - cookies & cream and chocolate covered cherries. Large servings. Loved the flavours. The 2 young ladies working were very nice.
Interesting decor... felt like we walked into someone's house and just sat in front of their fireplace eating Gelato. LOL. We were also amused by the family photos in the ladies' washroom. A place to remember.

Been coming here for coffee regularly when in town. Open later than the other coffee shops which is a plus. The others close so much earlier. Lots of people here for the gelato. Will have to try it soon

I am not sure I should write this review but I'm finally think I should write it. We were in the shop on Sept 6 for the event of PoCo Car Free Day. We ordered one latte, one earl grey tea and a blueberry tart since we only wanted a drink and sat for a while. Then we would go back to the concerts. When we returned to the concert for about half hour, my husband felt bad and wanted to vomit. I believed this might caused by the spoiled milk of his latte. I had nothing wrong since I only had a cup of tea without milk or sugar. When we sat about half hour there, non stop customers were coming for gelato. We were the only customers ordering coffee and tea. Maybe, not many people came for the coffee so the milk might gone off. Hopefully they will pay more attentions to the milk. The owner and staff all were very nice, friendly and helpful. The place including the bathroom was super clean and tidy.

The ice cream is really good! It’s not greasy, has a light texture, and a delicious natural flavor. You can truly taste the quality and care in the preparation. Highly recommend!

enjoyed the vegan options (chocolate pb and raspberry). honestly just pleased to find vegan options at a gelato place. the google info states 'accessible' but it was a struggle with the wheelchair i use as we had to rely on friendly folks to open the door for us and theres not a ton of space to turn it around and people to maneuver around. just be aware :)

Was so looking forward to real gelato as someone had recommended and this isn't it! If you want some excellent gelato and are ever in Portland, Pinolo's is the place. They do have nice outdoor seating here though.
