Went in on a July 26th ( Friday night ) couple people there but overall the place was dead. We ordered a couple drinks . Bar tender was nice enough , $10 for a 20 ounce beer seemed a bit much but regardless we got our drinks and sat outside . My beer was pretty flat and wasn’t very cold, the dollar store patio furniture and cleanliness of the entire operation made me think they might be about to close the doors soon. My advice would be to clean the place up, invest in some decent outdoor furniture and spruce up the patio experience . The beer should be ice cold and come in a chilled glass. I’ll give it a go again as it’s my neighbourhood brew pub but wasn’t impressed.

I visited Northpaw Brew Co. and sampled a flight. My favourite selection was "Business as Usual," a rich IPA with intense fruity flavours and a smooth mouthfeel. "The Little Red Corvet" was rich and robust, offering a sweet, caramelized taste. It's precisely what you'd hope for in a red ale, and it certainly didn't disappoint. "Ring the Alarm," their Mexican lager, was a refreshing surprise. It had a crisp and clean taste with low bitterness, making it easy to drink. This lager was everything you'd expect from the style but with an added layer of flavour that made it a standout choice. Lastly, "The Midnight Love," a stout, rounded out the flight. While stouts are not typically my go-to choose, I had heard great things about this one. However, it may not be my personal favourite. Whether you're an IPA lover, a red ale aficionado, a lager enthusiast, or a stout connoisseur, they have something to offer for everyone.

North paw pumpkin ale reviewThis pumpkin ale pours a dark brown color, which makes you feel like you're drinking fall.Upon first sniff, you'll get a hint of spice and a traditional pumpkin flavor. I find the pumpkin flavor to be a bit weak, which is understandable since it's hard to get a strong pumpkin flavor in the first sip, so it may be a hit or miss for those looking for a strong pumpkin flavor. The spice comes through in the flavor, but it's not overpowering, creating a harmonious balance with the malt and hop profile of the beer. The pumpkin flavor is subtle and accents and adds nuance to the flavor profile rather than dominating it.The body of this ale is medium, providing enough substance to carry the flavors without being too heavy or too light. It works well with the overall flavor, making it a satisfying and easy-drinking beer.If there is room for improvement, it's the head retention. The foam dissipates relatively quickly, which can affect the initial aroma experience. There could be a number of reasons for this. My guess is that the amount of carbonation is a bit low.Overall, this pumpkin ale captures the essence of fall in one glass. It may lack in some areas, such as head retention and a weak pumpkin flavor, but the flavor balance and body make up for it. If you like a more natural and subtle pumpkin flavor, this ale is for you.Cheers!
