Let’s start with the good: the pesto chicken pizza was incredible. I think there was a whole chicken thigh on each slice. Everything was very fresh. They obviously used clean oil to fry the fries. The souvlaki was very good.
The slightly unusual : it’s a different experience. The music was loud. There was nobody to welcome us when we came in. And the lady who came out when we rang the bell wasn’t particularly helpful. The server was lovely though.
All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we will definitely come back!

Delicious food at a renovated place for a reasonable price. That is quite hard to find in metro van these days.

"I've heard so many great things about this place, and finally went for a visit with my husband and son for dinner tonight —and it did not disappoint! We had the mortadella sandwich, chicken souvlaki, and beef, and everything was sooo good. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the lady who took our order wasn’t friendly and barely acknowledged us. I even had to confirm if she heard my order. However, when we sat down, we were served by a lovely lady with glasses who was so amazing! She should definitely be at the front. I enjoyed talking with her, and we’ll definitely be back!"

Thank you all who recommended Saboos Artisan Bakery and restaurant on Google ! We were initially hesitant because the front facing area looks like a to-go booth, but were shocked to see a beautiful huge clean restaurant even with party area! The lamb chops were only $19.99 with pita bread, delicious salad, overflowing rice and perfectly seasoned lamb chops! It was a total steal. Anywhere else this would cost you $26 or more.

I think the owner was an older Lebanese lady with red hair who was very friendly and didn’t seem to speak English perfectly, but checked on us so many times! Very sweet family business.

I hope they survive due to their great food value and family friendly restaurant atmosphere with plenty of space for strollers etc. We will be back for the lamb regularly. Check them out especially for dinner!!!

Felt like a cafeteria, order first and then find a seat. Food was OK. Server had difficulty in communication.

Went in to place a take out order and waited a few minutes for someone to show up. A girl finally shuffled out from the back. She stood there looking at me picking a pimple from her forehead and then inspecting the matter on her fingers. Disgusting!!! I bolted!

We tried this place on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. Chicken souvlaki was tender and well flavoured and the beef kebabs were nice too. Sides (rice, potatoes, salad) were all good as well. Massive portion sizes. Afghani style bread was unique and very good. Will definitely be back.

I almost never write reviews but had to leave one for Saboos! The chicken souvlaki platter was so delicious and generous portion for the price, the pizza was AMAZING and the bread so delicious. Our picky kids cleaned their plates and we also had fresh donuts and baklava. It’s rare we eat somewhere that feels 100% worth the price these days. Will be going back very soon!

We love the food and are regular customers, we go at least once a week especially for the sandwiches. I am a very picky eater and get my Italian Mortadella with no veggies and usually get Tzatziki dip on the side (they should seriously bottle this dip it’s so good)
The last two occasions the server has refused to sell us the tzatziki dip on the side. We always offer to pay but it’s been a flat out “NO”
Today we walked out w/o ordering as this is how I like to eat this particular sandwich now. Very disappointed cuz this is our go to place!

"I used to be a regular customer at this restaurant because every time I ordered, the food was consistently delicious. However, today's experience was disappointing as the food did not taste good and it was not cooked well. The flavors were not balanced, and the quality was not up to par with what I have come to expect from them."
