I went there when they were about to close in one minute but the employee still treated me very nicely with welcoming nature. She made me the best hot chocolate. I love the service and I will visit this location more often.đ©”

I bought an iced coffee at the Maple Ridge location, and it was honestly undrinkable. Since I had to be in Port Coquitlam for an appointment, I stopped at the Broadway location and politely asked if they could remake it. The staff member at the drive-thru refused and was quite rude, saying their policy had changed and they no longer remake drinks from other locations.
However, I called another store afterward, and they confirmed that this isnât trueâthey would have remade it. If stores are going to enforce policies, they should at least be accurate and consistent. I wasnât just disappointed with the coffee, but also with the attitude and misinformation.
They wrote a âheyâ and drew a heart on our drinks when my husband went to pick them up, as we donât normally go in with intentions of being flirted with, it made my partner very uncomfortable and he asked me not to order from here again.
Whether this was an attempt at free marketing (trying to cause people to post this online) or an actual romantic gesture, it seems a bit desperate and unprofessional for a âseriousâ company. If this is what you teach your baristas then I had a completely different idea of what their job duties were.
We know itâs not that big of a deal, however Iâm just reporting this because whether youâre a man or a woman, you donât go into businesses expecting to get intentional advances from the employees. Especially as a woman, Iâd expect that minimum level of professionalism, so itâd be a double standard not to take my partnerâs feelings serious as well, regardless of his gender.

So apparently, you can't order a to-go traveler in the drive-throughâbut they wait until the pay window to tell you. Thanks for the 15-minute wait in the line for nothing. Horrible service.

The staff at this Starbucks are the friendliest staff I have ever met. Orders are always perfect as well but the staff make this location awesome!

Absolutely shameful how this branch is run. Had to wait through the drive-through for 20+ minutes for a godforsaken cup of coffee. This is pathetic.

WORST SERVICE. Visited Mar 18, 2025 around 1pm. Drive thru was busy as usual, so when I walked up inside the lobby, I gave them some time. Stood there at the mobile pick up counter for a solid 5 minutes. I waited, understanding that it was busy. Until I could clearly see that all FOUR baristas were actively avoiding eye contact with me. Not even a little smile or someone just saying âgive us a momentâ or any sort of acknowledgement. Just an active attempt at ignoring me. Will not be back here again.

Had a mobile order placed roughly 10 minutes before I arrived and once I got there had to wait another 14 minutes for my drink and showed up to my work shift late. Expect triple the wait time atleast for your order.
