Sun Mongolian BBQ

Love the ability to choose the veggies I like and avoid the others. Also has a great sauce station. Big beer mug for about $9 is a nice bonus.

Don't expect good value. Constant tension from the owner on how much food you are loading on your bowl. It's not worth it.

I used to love this place, but I regret to say that my recent visit to Sun Mongolian Grill was nothing short of disgusting. Since the change in ownership, the establishment has deteriorated significantly like a train wreck.
The quality of the ingredients was poor and the sauces were watered down resulting in the food overall taste was blend and disappointing.
The service was disastrous. The staff were openly rude and verbally abusive, creating an uncomfortable and a very hostile environment.
The restaurant was unclean. The floors were sticky, chef picked up dropped ingredients with fingers. The overall hygiene was very concerning.

Comparing to another similar restaurant at Coquitlam center, this place is embarrassing.
I will not be returning and advise others to avoid this place at all cost.

I actually have never 👎 been more disappointed and embarrassed in my entire existence! Luckily there was no one else in the restaurant at the time. I have been going there since I first lived in the Port Coquitlam community. Always had a positive experience when dining in and picking up food for my family. Went in today and got shit 💩 from the lady in there that I was careless and wasting food because I was spilling a bit! Telling me I was putting too much noodles 🍜 in the bowl! Who are you to tell me anything!!!!! If they felt I was over filling the bowl then perhaps 🤔 they should weigh the food instead and charge that way!!!!! I felt bad and offered to clean it up and then I also left a tip! So upset! Never 👎 have I left a bad review ever on Google. This is my first! Paid enough for 3 bowls of food! I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN! That’s where this food 🥘 belongs in the bottom of the green waste bin!

My family often eat there and both the food and service are extremely good. You choose your own ingredients and sauces then the chef will cook it for you. The waitresses are very friendly and the chef has amazing talent. Overall, this place is filled with welcoming vibes and amazing food.

I don’t have enough good things to say about this place! Awesome and friendly staff, amazing food, great price, and a very home-like atmosphere that makes it a pleasure to eat at. My family and I, as well as my girlfriend and her family come here all the time! 100% recommend!!!
