The best omakase in metro Vancouver! The experience is second to none. Keith imports his fish from Japan. His rock shop is our favourite now and forever!

Had the great pleasure to celebrate my birthday with the incredible omakase sushi experience at Sushi K. I had been looking forward to trying it with all the great reviews I had seen others post and am thrilled to share that it exceeded my high expectations!

The sushi was perfect! Each piece was a culinary masterpiece that reflected the best of what was fresh and available from Chef Keith's orders from the Japanese fish markets primarily, but also locally. The rice and homemade soy sauce made the experience completely delicious. Chika and Keith are warm and friendly hosts and the restaurant is spotless and welcoming.

We are looking forward to returning, even though it is is quite the drive from where we live. It's worth the trip!

Incredible experience and a unique treat that you won't find elsewhere. The Omakase experience was absolutely worth the cost, with extremely high quality fish in unique and flavorful pieces.

You can expect a small and sparsely populated spot. It's a two person show with Kieth preparing the sushi and Chika running the front of house. We were treated to a quiet, personal and unique dinner that I won't soon forget.

This is my favorite place for sushi. I happen to like heavy metal music and quality sushi, and this is the best of both worlds all in one. Sushi chef Keith is an artist with fish, and his wife is so nice and knowledgeable about the sushi they serve. I have always had an excellent dining experience here and left knowing a little more about fish and flavor than I did when I got there. Would highly recommend without question

If you want to try omakase, this is the place. Decorated with rock memorabilia and rock music playing as background music, we had amazing food and great conversation with the chef.
The amount of food was good for us.
His selection of fish and cuts were great, some you don’t really see at regular sushi restaurants, some you do see at regular sushi restaurants, but the freshness, flavour, and sauce that comes with it elevates it so much, that it doesn’t compare :)
Also after trying fresh wasabi here, I’m in LOVE with fresh wasabi now.
If you have wanted to try out omakase and were weary, come here for your first experience! You won’t be disappointed :)
I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had my birthday dinner here with some friends and it was probably the best sushi I've ever had! Chef Keith was super fun, energetic and had tons of great stories. He also explained each fish and where it came from, as well as the sauces or techniques he used to make each piece. If you can, book the counter seat to make your experience even more enjoyable! Can't wait to come back again.

Fish was very fresh but I didn't find the experience especially compelling. Wouldn't visit again given the price.

This place is by reservation only. This is a husband and wife, a cozy restaurant. I like a small, family run restaurant. I took the bar seat, so I was able to chat with the chef. The chef Keith explained very single dishes upon serving. He is friendly and good at what he is doing. Unlike most sushi places, the fishes were so fresh, and every dish was super amazing. Almost all the dishes were Nigiri, but all were just fantastic. I ordered a hot sake and it was just perfect. The entire meal course took about a little over an hour. It is worth every penny. There was plenty of parking in the plaza.

We finally had a chance to go in an experience Chef Keith’s wonderful Omakase. It was two hours of course after course of the best fish we’ve tasted, we left absolutely devastated it was over. From the blue fin tuna to the salmon scallop cup to my favorite the filleted prawn, every bite was absolutely amazing. Chef meticulously selects top tier cuts and explains in great detail how each course has been prepared. The most impressive part for me was the flavor profiles and how he layers everything to being the culinary experience to life. Unreal.

The heavy metal atmosphere (the D horns up from Chef was a highlight for my husband!), service and food were all above exceptional. Thank you to both Chef Keith and his boss Chika. We will see you soon and are already salivating thinking about our next visit. An absolute MUST if you are in the Tri cities.

We say “Yes Chef” to our entire experience tonight. Sushi will never be the same again for us.
