Our server was the most friendly and kind. Had the soondae soup and cold noodles. Will be back!

Seafood Tofu soup is one of the best kept secret in Port Coquitlam. Haven't been here for a few years but the quality of food is always consistent. Highly recommended for Korean or non Korean speaking clients to try out. You will never regret. It is convenient located next to Husky gas station. Coming through RALEIGH Street is the best way in.

Despite having visited this location many times with friends & families, even recommended them to friends - I have yet to review it. So here's a much deserved review.

The food is exceptional, have a homemade flavour to it and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a family-run restaurant.

The soondobu, pork bone soup, soondaeguk, gopchang are all amazing. Comes out piping hot, fresh, and rich. Warm the soul on a rainy vancouver day.

I also used to buy the frozen soondae and housemade kimchi, which are amazing and very authentic.

Once in a while, our small family of 3 eat there. Me(Korean), my daughter and my husband(Canadian). The ladies who work there are always nice to us, always greet us warmly so a lot of times they remind me of my aunts or my mom. Their food is authentic, comes in generous portion size, you will leave this place full and happy tummy. They have a true Korean Imo(Aunt) restaurant vibe and today in the middle of my meal, I broke into tears as one of the ladies work there kept checking up on us, refilling our banchan multiple times and water, I thought of my mom who was in Korea and cried my eyeballs out!!(Because I felt warm)

They deserve more business, I know it's not the best location but they are nice people who serve really good food. Thank you!!

My first visit was 2023 and really enjoyed their backbone soup with tofu. I decided to revisit a few evenings ago and did a walk in but it was too close to closing time and they were out of backbone soup. So tonight I phoned ahead. I had accidentally ordered the basic backbone soup which doesn't come with tofu :( But it was still delicious. The soup was spicy, hot, energizing and delicious. I loved that the soup came with sticky rice and three different condiments ♥️ I ordered and additional bowl of rice. Total came to $20 CDN. I recommend this place.

Lived around poco for sometime and finally decided to try Tongileo on a whim. One of the best bossam I've ever had in north america (specially because of the kimchi that comes with it). Good soups and noodles too. Authentic food that rivals the ones I've had in Seoul. I've taken a few friends so far and they all agree. Service and ambiance is pretty standard, but I honestly think this place is very under rated. They make home made kimchi that was pretty good. I was a bit disappointed it wasn't the same kind as the one that comes with the bossam, but it was still good. Anyways, love to find a new hidden gem.

The atmosphere here is nothing special and does not need to be with the food they serve. This is some of the best food I have had since being in LA. I go to LA to see my Korean adopted fam and they take me for food I could not get in Vancouver. The chilled noodles brought me back the first time I tried. Kimchi pancake was crispy with a nice soft inside. I ordered way too much as the portions were large. We all enjoyed the meal and I have thanked the friend that suggested it multiple times for taking us here. Now I need to go again and just order less food.

It was unfriendly and ended too early so I was disappointed.

I had the bibimbap with beef, and the portion was on the small side. Besides a lot of large chunks of green onion and slices of onion, there were barely any vegetables.

So glad I live in PoCo and can go to this place regular from now on.

Friendly staff, sweet Korean family who are very patient and attentive.

I got take out of the steamed dumplings, soup NaeJang Tang, and bibimbap. So fresh, authentic and perfect for a rainy day.

Looking forward to dining in next time very soon!

Extremely rude server! Terrible service! I wish I could give 0 stars!!! The taste was aweful! This place should rather shut down if they have to be so disrespectful towards their customers!
