My recent dining experience at Kisso Sushi left me with mixed feelings that I feel compelled to share. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the attentive service provided by the waitress. However, I must admit that I felt somewhat uncomfortable when she questioned the tip I left. While I did leave a tip, it's possible it wasn't as much as she expected. Tipping is a personal gesture, and I believe it should be left to the discretion of the diner. Being put on the spot to justify this decision was not only unwelcome but also unprofessional. I hope management takes note and ensures a more tactful approach to customer interactions in the future. After all, a positive dining experience encompasses more than just the food served—it's about the overall treatment and ambiance provided to patrons.

In my life as a picky eater, I think I've finally found a food that not only suits me but is also insanely delicious. It's like a ray of light on a boring Tuesday. best!!!! The servers Hiroe and Jessica were really friendly and pretty (*´ ˘ `*) All the other employees were also friendly!!! The food came out really quickly and deliciously. (((The chicken topping in particular was really delicious. I even ate all the grass and lemon for flavor lol)) If possible, I would like to eat three meals a day here every day! I’ll come back to eat again next time!! The best Japanese food restaurant!!

This place is a good spot to take for sushi! The service was excellent and outstanding, the atmosphere took me right back to Japan. The server with the pink highlights was the nicest, overall this restaurant is THE BEST sushi place in Port Coquitlam.

Kisso Sushi is a comfortable and cozy atmosphere restaurant. It sports some of the better fresh fish and sashimi of the area, but it also reflects in the price.I haven't yet endeavored to try their ramen, but it looks good for the price. It does have a serving robot that can be a fun gimmick that woos guests, but I personally still prefer the face to face interaction. Especially in today's tipping culture.Definitely cemented themselves as one of the better mid-range sushi places in Port Coquitlam.
