The so-called vegan vegetable burger uses buns with milk ingredients. No other options are vegan without heavy substitution/modification. If you are in port McNeill, the Devils' Bath Brewing Co. down the street has MUCH, MUCH better vegan options.

Great burger and halibut, very nice fries. Very good portions. Good service

Great wings, great service and a fun room with a pool table and lots of TV screens for sports.

Corrine Bakun

Service and food disappointing. The atmosphere is a little dated as well

Excellent view of the harbour

Main course was good, appetizer was the worst shrimp I've ever had, we left 3/4 on plate.

Very loud both on patio and inside but it is a Pub.

NOT dog friendly patio, incase you’re looking for somewhere with your pup.

The Gus burger is on point and the service is excellent!

Had an impromptu night in Port McNeil so we spent the evening at Gus's and had a great time. Food was good old school pub style which is exactly what we needed. Beer was cold and we spent our time playing Keno and Pull Tabs

I understand it's hard to find good staff in these small towns . But some owners would lose their crap if they saw how rude and moody their female waitresses were. I.e. the brunette.. She should be ashamed . I won't be back

The food was good. The waitress was friendly and fast. The men's washroom had sticky urine on the floor. We were there about an hour after they opened, so it was likely leftover from the night before. We didn't see the kitchen but the rest of the place seemed clean.

I'd go back.
Canada needs to work on 1 thing. It took us 2 weeks to learn exactly why we couldn't go to nearly any eatery with our baby. Especially as we were driving across some sparsely populated areas, it was really hard to have a family meal just because the only place in town also served alcohol. Pretty ridiculous, canada
