Only 1 star cause I can’t give it zero. Literally the worst food I’ve ever tried and thrown out in my life. What a waste of money. Got home. Tried it. Nasty. Even tried frying the noodles with VH and hot sauce to see if it could be edible and still threw it out ?

Terrible food but even worse service. The owner/host was so rude. How are they still in business?

If you make conscious decision, and stay away from the deep fried/ battered dishes you will have success.Parking: 10 + parking spotsWheelchair accessibility: Concrete ramp, but parking lot has moderated slope away from the door.

I love this restaurant. I avoid the shrimp since it really tastes like a rubber chicken was thrown in a microwave and then deep fried, but everything else is delicious! Not expensive, either. One time, I made a large order and forgot to pick it up until 20 min after they'd closed. I rushed downtown, and he still let me in to pick it up. The owner is a bit cranky, but I know he's a good guy. Try the ginger beef! It's my fav!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access

Ok, I did not want to leave a review but my son insisted and so here we go: Worst Chinese food ever. Don’t eat here. The egg roll looked like a fried pancake. It was old and gross absolutely re reheated from yesterday or older. I should have ran away from our table when I heard the microwave heating our food. We were the only ones in there at dinner hour- we should have taken note of the empty parking lot as a sign not to go in. Chicken balls were over cooked and very tiny. Rice was not chicken fried rice it was white rice with chicken on top? But it did not taste like chicken at all. There you have it, you’ve been warned. Price tag was $40 for two ginger ale’s, one order of chicken balls, one order of fried rice and one egg roll and one spring roll. Disturbing to say the least.

Sorry to say I’ve eaten a lot of food in my life. I’m a chef by trade at this by far was not very nice unfortunately tasted like sweet-and-sour sauce with Frank’s red hot added into the ginger beef and I’m not sure exactly what kind of shredded beef it was, but it was not very good and rice was sour eggroll tasted like not any eggroll ever had as well

We should have read the reviews. I hate leaving bad reviews and only do it when I feel I was ripped off. This was by far the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had.The chicken fried rice was white rice (the photo is after I poured three pouches of soy sauce in it)with shredded chicken on top, one dried up pea and a piece of a corn kernel. We had the mixed vegetables, I don’t even know what to say, they were not seasoned at all and were floating in a viscous grey liquid. Can’t believe we paid $30 ate a few bites and threw it out.

Lets see where do I start.i have been going there for over 20 years and I still go once in a while. The food has not changed one bit and I get a kick out of the owner. These places are so hard to find these days with all of the chain stores, and fluffy fake service. If your visiting Port Mcneill its a must do as part of your holiday.Like it or not it's worth the experience ......
