Bridgemans West Coast Eatery

Only place open on a Wednesday night. The food was excellent. I had fish with the soup of the day (creamy chicken, bacon, corn chowder) instead of fries. They both delicious. Fish as not greasy and generous serving but the soup was excellent. No salt and pepper needed. Very well done. My partner had wings (great normal for well cooked wings) and the Seafood chowder which he said was “one of the better chowders he has had”. Thanks we were bummed the “other place” was not opened but because of it we found a cool spot that we will recommend and return too. Stunning harbour views as well

Drove half an hour out of our way to see what there was to eat in Port Renfrew. Drove down to the water for a place with cozy pub vibes, and gorgeous views. Best fish and chips of my life hands down. The slaw was absolutely delicious too. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

We had a bit of a hard time seeing the location from the road. They have tons of signs so we probably aren’t the only ones, so they are definitely trying to make it obvious for us tourists.

We came in on a cold quiet day and the server was wonderful. All of our food was incredibly delightful and fresh. The star was the fish and chips. The location isn’t too bad either ;-) it was just breathtaking.

Racist middle aged white woman wouldn’t take my order. She told me to wait, and then wait, and wait again. I was there for 10 minutes, people that came after me was served before me. I’m surprised that I’d have to go through this in 2024.

Nice service, food was good. Lovely sunset here. Washrooms were laughable, and plastic cups for drinks were a downside. Tacos were quite drippy, oversauced. Yummy tho!!

What do you do when your order gets forgotten as explained by our server. Who forgot it? The kitchen, the server? My best guess is the server as she approached the kitchen they gave her a look. She then went to the serving area and suddenly there was an order ticket. My tuna tacos were great but the wife’s food was overcooked and slightly burnt. We went to this restaurant as we have frequented Bridgemans in Mill Bay numerous times and always had great food and service. What a disappointment. Definitely eating elsewhere next time I’m in the area.

Amazing restaurant. Started with chicken wings served with homemade pickles. Tasted amazing. Then got a fish n chil as main dish. I'd say it was one of the best fish n chip I've ever had. 2 big pieces of fish. And you can get malt vinegar with your fries. I highly recommend it. My girlfriend got the tuna burger. It was the best fish burger I've ever had. Almost regretted not getting that. Tasted like a pokebowl in a sandwich. I highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent service as well
