We went for a fundraiser dinner. The burger was fantastic. I loved that they had it lettuce wrapped for me (gluten free). The atmosphere is beautiful. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was sweltering hot 🥵.

We sat on the deck in the back. Watched the sun set and the ferry come in. The service was great and very personal. The choices on the menu were excellent, we wished we had bigger appetites.
The bacchus salad could be described as an eggs Benedict on a bed of lettuce. The mushroom ragout was truly tasty.
The waitress was very helpful helping us make our choices. Not rushing at all and able to chat about the area.

We (YAVIR Ukrainian Male Chorus of Edmonton) are participating in the choral festival. Forest is providing supper for some of the choirs. The food and the service has been excellent. 2 more suppers. Thx John and your staff.

What a great place to eat. Food was hot and fresh. A true gem of place in the heart of Powell River. Also a great view of the ocean, even saw a whale while eating. Will be fore sure.

From the outside, it’s pretty unassuming—but once you step inside, you’re welcomed with warmth, and the view from the back patio is absolutely stunning.

I had the Hunter Style Chicken with a glass of Chardonnay and it was outstanding—rich, savory, and clearly made with care. Comforting and elevated at the same time.

The owner and staff were gracious, warm, and genuinely friendly. The whole experience made me feel like I’d discovered something special.

Already looking forward to coming back…. I’m literally coming back tomorrow haha.
