I’ve only been to a handful of bakeries on the Sunshine Coast, but this was easily the best and I’m sure has few rivals in quality, variety, and friendliness. Loaves great (and lots of different varieties), hand pies👍, and cookies top notch. Lots more I didn’t sample but looked amazing. Props also to our super cheerful server in the Sgt Pepper T-shirt. She made our visit a very pleasant experience.

One of the most amazing sourdoughs I've ever had! Absolutely delicious just plain.

Market itself was kind of meh. Maybe I came on an off day (Tuesday) - most businesses were closed.

The almond croissants are not only the best dessert in town but the best I’ve ever had anywhere. I’d travel to PR just for a bite. 10/10 no notes.

This is such a little gem! We enjoyed drip coffee as well as pastries here after a long walk from Powell River via the trail system. We had almond croissants, pan au chocolate and a double chocolate cookie. You can see the bakers working making everything from scratch. The worker helping us was super helpful, providing recommendations. We snagged a Asiago sourdough bread when we left to pair with dinner. It was lovely!

This is the finest bakery between Saltery Bay and Lund. The service is always cheerful. Darlene works hard to provide high quality products. The croissants are so delicious and remind me of the ones I had in France. Highly recommend this bakery.

We always go to this little bakery when we are in Powell River. The staff is friendly. The owner, Colleen is a whole vibe. The bread is amazing. The cookies to die for. Don’t miss it. Drop by Townsite Market to browse and eat.

This women-run bakery is a hidden gem! The quality of their baked goods is outstanding, and the service is always friendly and efficient. Everything is made with love and care. Support local and treat yourself to something special here!

I went in this afternoon (Tuesday) to purchase a loaf of bread. Not realizing it was closed. Not impressed with the response I got. Rude and dismissive.

Don’t expect service. I guess it’s fine to ignore customers and instead engage in long form conversation while waiting customers stand politely by…. (Say nothing or leave a review so maybe you guys at least know this is happening) *shrug
