Had to change a prop on an old 15 HP Yamaha on my way up to desolation. Called Marine traders hoping they had something. Nothing in stock but the staff checked their suppliers … they called me back with a possible delivery date that didn’t meet my schedule so they suggested I try another local shop (Valley Marine). Valley was able to help but the staff at Marine Traders provided great customer service in my time of need.

Rave 👏 to Powell River Marine Traders! Called enroute to Powell River to order ahead and prepay. Told Ian we would be rushing off ferry in traffic to make their 5pm close time. He so kindly agreed to wait until we arrived at 515pm to pick up the gift for our friends/Hosts.
We’ve always had excellent service here every summer on our annual visit and greatly appreciate the huge selection of high quality gear and products! Thanks again Ian, you’ve kicked our vacation with awesome customer service - we’re off a super start ⭐️ 🙏

Pretty brutal, asked if they could order a PFD in for me, and the guy at the counter made it sound like it was really inconvenient for him to do so. Said he would call to let me know if he could find it. Never called back. It's actually easier to order on-line but I'm really trying to support local brick and mortar store.
