I’ve been looking for good vegetarian fried rice for some months. Tried in Vancouver, Burnaby, Victoria and other restaurants in Powell River. I was astonished today at Old Man Pho to find the best fried rice I have ever had. Combined with a wonderful Stir Fried Vegetables dish, it was a very satisfying meal. A treat for all of the senses. Atmosphere was great. Party of two. Will be back.

When this place just opened I had one of the best bowls of pho I have had in my life. ( As a truck driver I have tried many). The last few times it has been bad. Chicken tastes like dog food. Broth is bland. Would maybe pay $5 for a bowl. $20+ I just cant do. Wont be coming back.

I think this is one of the best restaurants in the Powell River area. It doesn't matter what you order here you will be happy with the results. The food is always amazing, the prices great and the staff are friendly. They are a bit out of the way for me but the drive is worth it. I eat here every chance I get.

Always satisfied with the food and service. Every time I come up to Powell River, I must stop here.Fresh veggies and good cuts of meat. Spring rolls seem made by hand.It's a little ways out of town, but it's worth it. This little restaurant has a warm vibe and outdoor seating.
