Make sure to grab a seat near the windows so you can have a nice view of the lake. Ordered pasta, the taste was good, not great, it was a lot, wasn’t able to finish it. The waitress was ok, she definitely wasn’t focused in the area I was sifted. The food took a while.

We stayed at the Old Courthouse Inn for an evening and wanted to have dinner at a local pub. My wife found the Shingle Mill Pub online so we decided to give it a try. We definitely weren't disappointed. We shared a Margarita pizza, then my wife had the beet salad and I had the prime rib. Portion sizes were generous and the food was terrific. Our server was fantastic (Leanne) and we had a wonderful chat with her after our meal (we apologize for keeping you from your closing duties!) ... We had an incredible time at the Shingle Mill and will definitely return the next time we're in Powell River. Thanks!

They were very welcoming of myself, my wife and our 3 young children. The staff was very friendly and the views are great. The kids portions were surprisingly large.

Vegetarian options: Not a lot of Vegetarian options and Vagen's are pretty much out if luck altogether.

The place is very warm and nice, today we found a place to eat and we got a nice surprise with the food, it is delicious, very well prepared and they did it in it. Best possible time. The service is super friendly and fun, they make jokes and treat customers super well. It is a delicious place that you cannot miss. The burgers and roast cauliflower are recommended, as are the chicken tenders. The portions are large, if you come as a couple order a side of potatoes and a side of salad and you can share. There is a variety of beers and the people are super friendly.

I wish their menu was bigger and I don’t like kale in a Caesar Salad but the pork belly appetizer is delicious as was the tuna!! My bill was high with Appie and entree, two glasses of wine (didn’t drive) and generous tip !!!

This place charges for ketchup now which is one of the most absurd things I’ve ever seen in my life. I voted conservative in the last election. Gina is a great server and a great mother.

Love coming to this gem at Powell Lake. They feature a wide ranging menu that clearly describes all the potential hidden ingredients. Perfect for folk with some

This restaurant is off the main road a short distance. Nice place to settle in for a great meal and plenty of eye candy. The terminal for the float planes is in the same building, and if you are lucky, you can watch the planes land and take off. The lake is surrounded by mountains and very serene. I ordered the fish and chips ,and my friends both had gigantic sandwiches and fries. The coffee was a delicious dark roast, and I asked the waiter what the name of the coffee was. He replied " I don't know ,but it comes in a big bag ". This answer touched off laughter from not just our table, but others that were in earshot. After dinner we went for a short walk down by the seaside. Great dinner, great place!!!!

We were in town for a friend's wedding and were flying out via Harbour Air so we had lunch while we waited for our flight. We were very happy with our decision to stop here! The service was very attentive and welcoming, our server even went above and beyond and found me a can of Coca Cola when they were out of the fountain soda. We ordered the jalapeño popcorn shrimp, the fish and chips and the shingle mill burger. The popcorn shrimp were delicious! Lightly battered, well seasoned, perfectly cooked. The aioli it was paired with was a perfect complement. The fish and chips were really good too, both the fish and the cole slaw tasted really fresh. The burger was exactly as expected. I'm surprised seeing the mixed reviews on Yelp but am grateful we had such a positive visit and would definitely return next time I'm in town!

Was there on holidays and was very pleased. I had the falafel (made into a salad to accommodate me being celiac). Amazing food and fantastic service! And yes, the falafel was most definitely gluten free.
