Nice place for a casual night out. Great drinks at reasonable prices and an easygoing vibe. The food is your regular classic pub fare; familiar and satisfying. Staff are friendly and the space feels inclusive, perfect combo with the bowling alley and live music events.

Came with friends, ordered food for ourselves and a friend waited for an hour, the bartender said that they had no food, waited for more than an hour and left, I don't recommend this place to anyone! 👎👎👎

I was in a couple weeks ago while waiting for the ferry. Went in with my kids and we had a blast bowling. There is not a lot of lanes and a couple were out of order but the drinks were awesome and the food was great. I must say I was impressed as they had a disabled man working and it was amazing how quick he was and fun and his welcoming attitude was amazing!!! Cam was working in the bowling alley with Kira in the pub great team! I would definitely come back 💜

We had a 2 hour wait for the ferry to Comox and what would be a better way to pass the time than with bowling and beer?! Kids were $5 and adults $10 and it’s steps away from the ferry!

You won’t find better, kinder, sweeter service! Wow! We stopped in for a bowl while we waited for our ferry and couldn’t believe how lovely every staff member was at the Spare Room. They went so far above and beyond; bringing our dog a bucket of ice water on the patio and rustling up some treats for our kids. The patio is lovely, their menu is enticing, and they serve delicious Persephone beer!

Called over 5 times on multiple different occasions and they have only answered one time. When we were finally able to make an order over the phone I ordered the beef dip and they forgot the au jus. Terrible experience every single time.

The pictures dont match what u get served. Ordered a caesar...came with one small bean. The picture shows an entire meal with the caesar...lol

One of our favourite local spots. The new owners have done a fab job at reviving the bowling alley and bar. It’s looking great in there! Super fun, causal spot with good food and friends for bowling/pool, hanging out or dancing the night away! Great staff also. 10/10!!!
