Great experience at this Subway today! 😊🥪
The staff were super friendly and didn’t rush me at all — just good energy and great service. My sandwich was made really well, fresh ingredients, everything tasted clean and crisp.

The store looked tidy, and they handled the lunch rush with patience and professionalism.
Sometimes it’s the small things that make your day better, and this was one of them.

The Martian

Everyone should steer clear of the chopped salads from every Subway establishment until they retire the plastic chopping bowls and upgrade to metal ones. I purchased a chopped salad tonight and bit into not 1, but 2 chunks of plastic from their chopping bowl!

I can only imagine the amount of small pieces of plastic I ingested without noticing. Those bowls are old and plastic is porous, so I ate plastic from probably hundreds of other people's salads that had been chopped in that bowl previously. I feel physically ill just thinking about it.

Great location, and good staff. My main issue comes from trying to use the app or website to order food. I know the owner has no control over the corporations decisions to use a terrible website as they do. I cannot tell you the number of times ive cancelled my order mid order because the website gives me grief. Just tried placing an order and was met with yet another error msg. I hope the owners of subway franchise locations start a serious campaign against the actual corporation. They are cutting into your profits to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars a year when people cant even place an order online in 2025 because the web designer is an idiot. I am now on my way to tim hortons because I dont have time for this bs... Sorry guys! 🤷‍♂️

It was actually my first time going to a Subway. I asked for a Asian turkey sandwich, but then the worker started asking me what I wanted to put in my sandwich. I know you kinda build your own sandwich. But all I want is the stuff that comes with the sandwich.

Soggy. We went in with a gift card in the hopes of enjoying a simple meal at home. They basically scooped water onto our sandwiches. (Avoid the porchetta at all costs ?) Toasted it and it was somehow still fridge cold and soggy. We're in a heatwave how is anything that cold when toasted. They obviously didn't know how to work the gift cards. Didn't give us the cookies we ordered and had to go back to the counter for them. (So glad we checked the bag before leaving.) I ate maybe a third of my sandwich because of how cold and mushy and just genuinely awful it was. I am not much of a picky eater but I could not eat this. I am so disappointed.. I'll save you the horror of a photo of what looks like bread a baby chewed and spat out.

Eaten here lots over the years in Powell River. Sometimes it's a good experience, sometimes not.My husband and I once went to grab subs and when it was time to pay I pulled out my card and tapped it. The server handed us our food and said "thank you sir" to my husband even though I was the one who paid... it made me feel awkward. Another time the server put the wrong ingredient on my sub and used their cutting knife to scrape it off, scrape into the little garbage hole in the counter and then back onto my sub. It was disgusting. In retrospect I should've said something but was too shocked - needless to say I didn't eat that sub. As well, there have been lots of times the servers wear bracelets around their wrists and they dangle out of the gloves and into your sub. Kinda gross.My other visits have been somewhat uneventful. But you can pretty much expect subpar veggie quality, floppy meats and an average fast food experience. Just hope you're going on a day where the experienced crew is working and you'll get an OK sub.
