We ordered poutines and they were good... I got the chicken wings and I have to say I was incredibly disappointed. The wings were very small and very little meat on them and were dry and flavorless. I'm not sure if we just came in on a weird night, but there was a lot of hype about this place and we were very excited and it turned out to be a massive disappointment

Drove all the way over twice now and no lunch to be had. A total waste of my time. I dont shop at night and drive quite a way in to have lunch, this place is not open for lunch.

What a find- my first fried chicken meal since I was diagnosed celiac 20 years ago. Great food, almost everything gluten free. Good size portions and yummy fries! My non-GF family members were happy too. Friendly service. Will definitely go back.

Located under the quirky Rodmay Hotel is this wonderful place. We ordered too much food because it all sounded great. Fried Chicken, Chicken Skins, and Pickle Juice Wings were all wonderful. Even the coleslaw which usually tastes like an afterthought in most places was good. We asked the server about the hotel and the restaurant owner came out to tell us about the ghosts and events centered around the hauntings. I'm sure recent times have not been kind to them and I really hope they succeed through these miserable COVID years because they deserve it. The owner is obviously passionate about her business and her food is great!

If you are in Powell River, definitely get take out from "That Chicken Place". Order a bucket so you have leftovers. It's just as good cold the next day!

First time in Powell River. We tried the Dill Pickle Wings. Juiciest wings I've ever had! Not 5 stars because we thought $15 for 1 lb wings was to much.
