The food at the Seasider is amazingđ and the staff is unbeatable for kindness and service is unbeatable thank you so much for making our Anniversary so special âĽď¸âĽď¸âĽď¸
Location is great, Drinks were decent, Food is absolutely disgusting. We waited 3 years since our last outing at the seasider where we were left disappointed. 30$ 2 piece Fish and Chips was undercooked, oversaturated with oil and very bland, not to mention the batter was 3/4 thick with air pockets. The calamari came attached in one big stuck together ball where it was overcooked comparing it to chewing on a piece of a bicycle inner tube. Worst way to spend your limited free time on a Friday with a bill over 100$ Will not ever return.
The Seasider is such an amazing restaurant. The waitresses, Karen & Anna, are awesome. Food never disappoints either. love this spot. plus the view is AMAZING! Definitely recommend this place.
The food was delicious! I had the pesto Gnocchi and it was absolutely lovely. I ended it with dessert and the carrot cake was surprisingly divine. Will definitely add it to my list of regular haunts

Vegetarian options: This trip to The Seasider Bistro was a bit disappointing. They had a shoulder menu with very little options for Mediterranean diet. Only options were fish and chips ( and two pieces not just one piece) at $29.00. Plus a spaghettini vegetarian dish which was also overpriced. The staff were still very friendly as always but overall we were disappointed with our return trip.
We made a reservation and we could have made other arrangements to go elsewhere if told of the limited menu offerings.

This spot is all about the location. Their patio on a summer's night can't be beat. We saw whales a few times off towards Texada and thoroughly enjoyed the sunset. The service was also great. We were thrilled with the attention we got and the efficiency with which she helped us. The food, on the other hand, was hit and miss. I had the burger, and it was a win. My partner had the tuna and pasta and thought it was just so so. The couple we dined with had yhe tacos. The one who chose fish was really unhappy with the soggy wrap. The other chose the shredded beef and enjoyed his. We had the squid to start, and it was very good. We tried all 3 desserts. The chocolate mousse was the hit, the apple cake was ok, and the lime offering was full of big chunks of actual lime that I had to spit out because I couldn't chew it. All in all, I would try again but be cautious in my choices. Stick to burgers and usually it works out.
Parking: You have to drive all the way past the hotel to the water's edge to find parking and the restaurant.

I was staying at Beach Gardens and was enjoying the sunny, west views towards Van Island, and we happened to head downstairs for dinner - to the Seasider (without any on-line research) and were so pleased with the outdoor dining & sunset views - and blown away by the delicious food. The shrimp ceviche and the seafood Cioppino - perfection!!!

Absolutely delightful service, my wife and I had the seafood cioppino, I had a delicious Moscow mule with blueberry vodka at the service advice. Absolutely stunning balcony and air conditioned dining room.

Great location and view. Unfortunately the cook doesnât know how to cook a steak. 3 times recently I ordered a steak rare or medium rare and each time itâs come out very over cooked. One time is was clearly well done. The cook had to have knowen and they served it anyway. This 3rd time I complained about the first 2 times and it still came out over cooked. Not pink at all. I donât recommend ordering a steak from this restaurant:(

Understaffed. Waitress was friendly, but we waited two hours for our meal. We ordered the New England clam Seafood chowder and discovery to contain shrimp which my wife is allergic to. They also ran out of clams and fish tacos that we wouldâve ordered. The views, however, are excellent.
