Came for a late lunch and ate the halibut fest Raincoast Salad. I’ve eaten here a million times over the past 44 years and I need to declare: BEST MEAL EVER! The halibut was cooked perfectly- still moist - in a crispy Parmesan crust. The greens were finished in a sensational lemon herb vinaigrette and absolutely complimented the fish. Capers in butter and lightly pickled onions finished the dish. I ate every single morsel. It was absolutely fabulous. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 to the chef.

This is a warm, cozy and sophisticated lounge with a touch of tradition. stunning oceanfront setting, conservatory, and heated deck with panoramic is all true. You can read a book, enjoy your me time or have a group time together for a lounge. I liked the collection of Whiskey, Beers and Wine. Good for romantic one on one.

I have the pleasure of working in Prince Rupert for about a week a month. I frequent Charley’s and the service is second to none. A lot of places these days leave a lot to be desired service wise. But, not here! Every server treats you as their own table. The food is fantastic and they have a meal to fit every budget. The fisherman’s spaghetti is absolutely to die for! Old fashioned is my favourite drink! Can’t say enough about this place. Even the view is awesome.

Prince Rupert does not have a lot of vegan options anywhere so finding a couple of vegan dishes on the Crest Hotel’s restaurant menu is like a dream come true! As of late August 2024, the lunch menu had: - Vegan Zen Bowl: marinated tofu, grapes, kale, sprouts, organic brown rice ancient grains, avocado, pumpkin seed, hemp seeds, tahini dressing -Vegan Thai Peanut Curry: marinated tofu, spicy curry sauce, ginger, peanuts, chili vegetables, basmati rice -edamame beans with sea salt - heart of palm “calamari”: tender fried hearts of palm, lemon, vegan garlic aioli The dinner menu offered the Vegan Zen Bowl as the only true vegan dish and there was a daily vegetarian dinner feature (which ideally could be modified to be vegan). So, while the vegan options here may not be plentiful, it’s likely one of the only restaurants in this town with at least a couple of vegan choices! Updated from previous review on 2024-08-28

Delicious food, well presented, beautifully served. Highly recommend the braised beef rib and semi freddo dessert. Nirin was our superb server - can't compliment him highly enough

An upscale pub with great water views and food. Sat at the bar where there is TV (only viewable from the bar seats) and was able to catch the game as well.
