Avoid this place!! You are better off spending your money at Breakers down the road, or OPA sushi across the street. Decided to give this place another chance after trying it in the summer, and tonight's meal actually was one of the worst meals I have had in Rupert. I ordered the calamari, and the citrus cod bowl. The calamari was dry and flavorless, and the cost was a tiny piece of cod, and a whole bunch of rice with some ugly chopped up red peppers and carrots. It was not aesthetically pleasing, and the flavor was very underwhelming. But I decided I would eat the flavorless fish and just never return to this restaurant. Also, when we were seated, the waiter asked if I wanted a drink and I said no. He then asked if I wanted water, to which I said sure, as I assumed it would be a glass of water. (Ex, how the Crest does it) He brought me a bottle of water which he charged $3 for. Anyway my bill came to almost $45. I dined at the crest yesterday and had the chicken rigatoni and a drink and my bill was $53 dollars. I will never be a patron here again. Skip Dolly's fish market and spend your money elsewhere!

First time having a pizza from Dollys and boy was it disappointing! The pizza was disgusting. Almost 30 bucks, over $30 with taxes and tip that I regret. Small pizza, barely any toppings, in fact, there was one tiny piece of pineapple per slice once I spread them around. The worst part was that the dough was uncooked. Never, ever again!

I apologize to the 5 people I encouraged to join me at Dollys for supper tonight. First off, no Limoncello or pineapple juice for 2 of drinks ordered.Calamari was tasteless, not much crab in crab cakes, no lobster and no ravioli even though on menu, and the pizza was terrible. Would not recommend this place.

Stopped into dolly’s fish market last week for dinner and just had to go back the next day for more ! The fish & chips for dinner ( halibut ) 10/10 phenomenal! Crab cakes & calamari for lunch were absolutely perfect 10/10
Moving out here over 10 years ago, it was a treat to go here any get the fish and chips, now it has become the place that I will avoid. Everything about the experience was not enjoyable. The place looked like it underwent some Reno's, but that is the only positive. The fries were charred and tasted bitter, my burger had no depth to it. I had the bannock and cod burger, and it really felt like the fryer oil was never cleaned out and the taste of everything was blended together. My wife even had black burnt chunks in her hollandaise sauce from what ever her fish was fried in. I wish I could have said something positive, because I love food and never usually complain, there is something I like in every meal that I've had. But with this meal, I can't think of anything.

I heard it went downhill but thought how bad could it be? As soon as we walked in and saw it was empty on a Saturday night, no music was playing and there computer gear was scattered about i knew we made a mistake. The drink was horrible, the fish burger was horrible and the fries were horrible. I barely ate half. We received no check ins during our meal and when asked how it was we couldn't hide our disappointment. He didn't apologize or offer anything to rectify it. He walked away and never came back for the check so we had to stand at the bar and wait. Everything tasted like it was all from the same deep fryer that hadn't been changed in months. So bland and gross.

Service is INCREDIBLY slow all around: for eating in, buying at the counter, and fish processing. I watched food sit in the window for 15+ minutes while we waited to buy some items and nobody acknowledged us, or made any moves to serve the plates. This has been a consistent experience. The food was alright but not worth the wait. Candied salmon is sometimes really good and sometimes very dry and tough.
The last time, there was an apparent miscommunication between staff for their processing services that resulted in them telling us our fish “wasn’t there” at our agreed pickup time. Additional staff had to be called in to find it.
