I would not come back here again. The food was terrible. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and it was the size of a 355ml Coca-Cola can. The server took very long to take our order and took even longer to bring us drinks even though there was only one other person there. The worst part of the experience was that the fries were limp and squishy. The quality of the food was terrible. I waited a long time to try Dumelas and I was excited to try their food. After my experience here I would not recommend going to Dumelas to even try it out for the first time. Not worth the time or money.

Im not usually one to complain about a restaurant but I went to Dumela and I spent almost $17 and waited for 30 minutes on this ‘chicken’ ceaser salad

Two of us stopped in at approximately 9:50AM on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023. The atmosphere was great save for the swearing by a group of elders. It got old trying to enjoy our meal.As for the menu, we were going to get the two breakfast burritos, but they come with egg, and pepper in a wrap. That is all. However, you can add a variety of ingredients at a whopping $2.25 per item. So, we went for the basic breakfast with either bacon, ham, or sausage for $15.95. Honestly, we made the right choice! The eggs were overeasy as requested. The bacon and the sausage look dark in the photos, but were soft and slightly crispy; and not too salty! The meal came with hashbrowns, and toast (white or brown is offered). The hashbrowns were my favourite part. They were herbed, and fried to crisp, but fluffy on the inside! Perfect for myself, and company. The toast was pretty standard, but a nice addition. We topped it all off with a large mug of Dumela's awesome coffee!Customer service was great as our server was welcoming, and seemed in a great mood. Overall, we were satisfied with our meal, and the experience.

My first time in this cafe/restaurant. It has been in the #princerupertmall for awhile now but i have not had the time to go and check it out tell today and what a surprise on the menu and all the pies and ice cream and smoothies. The food is good we had few different items on there menu and thay where good . Service is abit slow bit that is to be expected with only 1 server . I was surprised to see how diverse the menu is it is a small menu but you know what thay say about a small menu thay must do there food well and thay do with the dishes we had . I am looking forward to going and exploring the rest of there menu . So if you are ever in the prince rupert square mall go and check it out it is on the downstairs across from the source ?.
great food
I would rate it higher but once, I see hair or something that shouldn't be in the food that's ordered, I'm grossed out completely.
Me and my partner ordered their breakfast burrito and it was extremely disappointing. All it that came in it was egg and pepper.Hell even McDonald's puts sausage bites in there breakfast burritos. If they ad Bacon or sausage, cheese and have it come with sour cream/ salsa it be perfect but as it is as it's just boring and lacking flavor
Restaurantji Recommends
poutine was slightly lacking in comparison to others i've had. the milkshake was good and they seem to offer more flavours than the average place. Dumela Cafe is a good place to go if you're looking for a *light* lunch, but with the price of the food i'm not offended. i'll definitely try their food (especially some frozen yogurt) again if i ever get the chance.
We have come here a handful of times and tried their breakfast and frozen yogurt treats. The breakfast is good value for money, but the frozen yogurt is what has kept us coming back for more. It is usually served in a generous portion and with real berries. Even on a cold December afternoon, these chilly treats hit the spot.
We surve breakfast all day, with the best coffee, and a free fill up. Also milkshake from any ice-cream we sell. Come and say hi
The food i ordered was cold and the french fries were bit burnt, wrap was good
great services, always a smile when walking in , very pleasant with customers.
