Nice to have them open again for dine in service. Food is good and they have a great selection of Cantonese style dishes. Had hot and sour soup it was definitely hot and sour! Loaded with bamboo and tofu however was missing the Woodear mushroom. Was hoping they had chinese style mushroom for their dishes such as special fried rice or special chowmein however they did not.. great chili oil and excellent Wok Hei in the fried rice dish. Would suggest Peking style Spareribs and special...
You can never go wrong ordering from galaxy gardens. The owner is super friendly, the food is always delicious and they give generous portions. If you’re a true Rupertite, you know that galaxy has always been the best spot for chinese food! Dinner for 6 for $120 and we had leftovers!
Galaxy Gardens is a Prince Rupert institution. Not to sure why, but ever since they have done take out only the food has been that much better! Over the last 30 years the quality ebbs and flows as expected but right now they're serving some of their best! Try it out
