Farah at Mission Health in Prince Rupert is basically the MVP of healthy living. The store is spotless, organized, and manages to pack an amazing variety into our small community shelves—from supplements and household goodies to healthier pantry upgrades.

And the smoothies? Ohhh, the smoothies. They don’t just taste good—they hug your insides and leave you ready to take on a workout, a workday, or both.

I’m lucky (and slightly dangerous to my wallet) to work just up the street, so I’m constantly “accidentally” sneaking down for a snack.

The vibe? Friendly, fresh, and full of good energy. Farah also hires high school students, giving them awesome work experience (love this), and her whole team is a joy to see.

Health food store with a pretty good selection of things like shelf-stable vegan items (canned soups, dry noodles, ramen, crackers, chips, chocolates) as well as a small selection of vegan frozen microwave meals, grooming products, cleaning products, supplements, & vitamins. They also have a smoothie bar with nut milks which offer some vegan options and others which can be modified to be vegan as well. Updated from previous review on 2024-08-28

The selection of vegan items is great and the owner is so kind. They’ve recently moved to a larger, brighter space with more selections. Pantry items, sports supplements, freezer items, etc. Soon they’ll be adding a smoothie and snack bar?

The store looks small but contains a whole lot of stuff. A whole lot of good stuff. Mostly what I already ordered online for vitamins, foods and soaps. The prices are more than reasonable since they are the same as if you ordered online, which in Prince Rupert is rare since most stores are using their exclusivity to boost prices close to double their worth (and that's the reason I order online like most people in town). And that's why I buy everything I need from there and when they don't have an item, if they can order it for me, I don't mind the wait. Service is excellent, friendly. Very nice people.
