Opa Sushi has always been one of my favourite restaurants to eat at when I'm in Prince Rupert! I thought the food was so great the first time I went there years ago, that I ended up coming back the very next night again... And I make sure to get a meal there every time I visit Prince Rupert.
The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff are always friendly and very accommodating, too. I 100% recommend checking out Opa to anyone who's considering it.

Stopped in with a friend. We had the chicken teriyaki, prawns, and a sushi roll. The chicken didn't have much flavor, and was served on cold sushi rice. Did not meet our expectations after reading reviews. Expensive for the quality.

We ordered the Salmon Avo roll, Black Ninja roll, and Yam Tempura roll. All were impressively fresh, with a clean taste and a well-balanced rice-to-fish ratio. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, making for a satisfying sushi experience.

I've been going to Opa for a few years whenever in Rupert, and I always looked forward to their delicious hefty rolls. Unfortunately over the past year, perhaps it's under different management, but the rolls have become TINY. Just spent > $30 on 2 specialty rolls (which looked beautiful and bountiful on the menu of course), and this is what I got. Disappointed 😞
PS - it's interesting that all the recent reviews are 5 stars, and the restaurant reports any low-star reviews... Invitation for the owner to respond on this review.

Amazing Amazing selection of sushi the options went on and on, i suggest the marvel roll all of our food has always been to die for worth driving from terrace just to have some, some of the best sushi i have had in the area, their outdoor patio area is a great spot to have lunch or dinner the service was great and super friendly
