Definitely a must try breakfast/lunch spot. There’s lots of selection that you won’t get anywhere else in Prince Rupert. The staff is always nice and the food is always quality. I would recommend this place any day of the week.
I personally recommend the Chicken Bang Bang Bennys. This comes as 2 poached eggs on English muffin and bbq style chicken, topped with a mango chutney and a side of hash browns. The flavours are delicious and very unique.

Fantastic breakfast spot and highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there before. Only open Monday to Friday is the only downside but you won't be disappointed with the food.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp which will make it easily accessible for those that need it.

Located where Neptune originally served its Neptune breakfast. The Ridge pays homage and brings breakfast back with a delicious take. The Ridge contends for the best breakfast in town. Lunch fusions with a varied menu tuned with Filipino flavours. Classic breakfast, with fresh takes on the good ol egg benedicts. Quick service and friendly staff.

Located in the newly renovated Ridge Hotel & Suites on Chamberlin Avenue (outskirts of Prince Rupert, near Kal Tire), the Ridge Restaurant quietly opened its doors in June 2021. What immediately caught my attention was their clear and definite emphasis on Filipino cuisine. On an almost daily basis, I’d see delicious-looking offerings like Chicken Adobo, Pork Sisig, Filipino-style beef stew, and Chicken Skin Chicharon – exciting! Indeed, the propaganda photos looked really enticing, but what also got me excited was the simple fact that the Ridge Restaurant was offering something new to Prince Rupert. As such, I was looking forward to trying them! Fast-forward nearly 2 years. My partner and I found ourselves in Prince Rupert for a short period of time and decided to use this as an opportunity to patronize the Ridge Restaurant. The excitement was palpable! We arrived during the prime lunching hour. The actual restaurant space is surprisingly small – just a handful of tables – but cozy. Very casual. After consulting the menu, which is written up on a chalkboard, we decided on the Crispy Pork Rice Box and the day’s special (Burger Steak). Service was very transactional, but friendly. The food arrived after about 10 minutes. After all the personal hype, I will say our lunch was a mixed bag. My Crispy Pork Rice Box was good – the egg was prepared nicely and the pork was crispy – but the accompanying rice was pretty bland and the pork, while cooked properly, could’ve benefited from a little more seasoning. Likewise I think the Burger Steak was a missed opportunity. The gravy was tasty, but the burger steak was over-charred and, as a result, had this terrible acrid aftertaste. It’s unfortunate because the bits of burger meat that WEREN’T charred actually had really nice flavour. FOOD: 3/5 SERVICE: 3/5 VALUE: 4/5 RECOMMENDATION: I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again but if I still worked in the area this restaurant would likely become a regular haunt of mine because of the unique offerings, daily specials and good value. Mild recommendation to check out. PS: If you found this review helpful in any way please consider hitting the "helpful" button!
I am writing on the restaurant end of the hotel. We try and make it there every week or so the food there is great. A very well done establishment. Me and my wife love going there to eat nice and small and quiet. Lots of parking outside and the hotel is very noce also .
