Had room service from the Waterfront restaurant twice while I was staying at the Crest Hotel - it was impeccable both times. My dinner arrived within 20 minutes of placing the order on both nights, and was plated beautifully and presented on a nice platter.
Below is what I ate, and every single thing was 10/10... my compliments to the chef!!
Night #1:
-Scallop Spoons
-Blackened Ling Cod + Prawns

Night #2:
-North Coast Seafood Chowder
-Dockside Halibut Fry with side Caesar Salad (instead of fries)

I absolutely love going here, Great food never had to send food back always great, professional service by the waiters, always coming to check on us to ask if we need anything more or how the food is. Atmosphere it's such a beautiful set up, and great by all the happy servers and customers. Everyone is happy.

The best food we've had in a long while. Service was great. Atmosphere was magical. Loved our experience at Waterfront.
We had Fisherman's pasta, surf and turf, scallop spoons and for dessert, (highly recommend) semifreddo.

First time eating here
The service was excellent
We shared the shrimp martini for our appetizer
It was fresh and delicious. The housemade cocktail sauce was amazing
I had the Angus strip loin. It was cooked perfectly. Medium Rare. Charred the right amount. The accompanying vegetables were cooked perfectly.
My wife had the Halibut and chips
The Halibut was lightly battered and cooked perfectly. The fries were also cooked exactly as they should be.
We shared a amazing dessert of which the name escapes me.
I enjoyed a Moscow Mule along with my dinner.
To top it all off, the views from our table of the Harbour were amazing.
We will definitely be coming back to enjoy the views and another amazing dining experience!

We just stayed at the Crest Hotel again last night when we got off the ferry.
Ate at the waterfront Restaurant of course!
We were not disappointed.
Food, service, and the atmosphere were amazing
You have to stay at the Crest and eat at the Waterfront

Waterfront was actually fully booked during our preferred time but we were gladly accommodated in Charley's Lounge. Same vibe, same menu and kitchen so all was great. Greeted and guided by very courteous and attentive staff (wasn't able to get his name) and had us settled in adjoining tables for 10 pax. We ordered for early dinner:

Truffle Fries-10
Scallop Spoons-9
Shrimp Gyoza-10
Buffalo Wings-8
Edamame Beans-8
Salmon Tataki-8
Artisan Bread-10
Sirloin Steak-5
Cracked Lobster Tails-10
Fisherman Spaghetti-10
Toffee Cake-8
NY Cheesecake-10
Creme Brulee-9
Beers-9
Assorted Cocktails-9

As stated above almost all we ordered were excellently delicious and plating is artistic. Special mention on the Cracked Lobster Tail which when dipped in the sauce is wow wow wow.

Sirloin Steak was a disappointment though, as it felt dry and tasted like cardboard.

Located at Crest Hotel, the lounge has a wonderful view of the harbor. It can get busy during dinner time so best to reserve a table.

Parking: Free open air parking in front of the hotel.
