I just purchased lunch and ordered a scallop roll which came with the tiniest amount of scallop. The roll was full of filler and rice. Scallop was shorted. Very disappointing. I called to explain and asked for tge manager. The lady who answered just laughed at me and told me to take a picture and put it on google. My review is thus is my last time ordering from Mikado Sushi. Shameful.

The service is terrible, front desk woman is not polite at all. The food is not too bad, or just ok. The quantity is very small, so it is quite expensive. I don’t know why it has such a high rating, maybe it is located at a very small town and there are less competition. I will not come back if there is other choice.

PS. I just found out that most of the good ratings were 6 or seven years ago. And most of the bad ratings were recently. It means that the restaurant had changed the owner in the last few years, it explains everything.

The food was fresh and good. The person behind the till is possibly the rudest I have ever encountered in a service industry!

Take out only. Before COVID you could sit in and eat. Fantastic flavor and presentation. Owners are lovely people. I have ordered platters as well as individual meals. I love their Rhubarb rolls.

No dine in oprion. The lady at the front is extremely rude, worst customer service. I tried to place an order over the phone for over 30 minutes and they never answered the phone, so, I have to go there and that lady make me feel that they were doing me a favor letting me buying from them.

This was terrible! The tuna sashimi was paper thin. The gyozas were frozen and deep fried. The California roll was canned crab with a very tinny taste. No dine in and customer service was poor.

Bathroom was closed and dining room closed as well

It was alright, portions were pretty small, food tasted alright. Nothing too notable. I would give it 3.5 if I could.

If you are on the road trip and get away from deep fried foods, this is a good place to visit. Only downside is there is no dine-in serviced currently. We recommend the cali rolls and spicy salmon cone.

REALLY TERRIFIC EXPERIENCE!This was our first time eating take-out from Mikado Sushi and I can’t explain why it took us so long to do so.We ordered the Princeton Roll and the Mikado Roll—both were excellent. What I find remarkable is that they are able to prepare such tasty food with ingredients that might be challenging to source in such a small community. When I called, they must have captured my phone number and I received a very helpful text when our order was ready. The have a cosy and smooth little operation with a friendly and courteous staff. The food was carefully and thoughtfully packaged. When you don’t feel like cooking, it’s particularly nice to order food and feel that you’ve received your money’s worth.
