I’ve been going here for 20 years. Sometimes it’s great and other times not so great. I never thought it would be inedible and I would still have to pay $54.00.
I did talk to the young fellow at the counter. He said “hopefully next time it will better”. I was hoping that we could pay for the green tea we drank and perhaps less or nothing for the meal, but I was handed the machine at full price.

I do not cheat people from their wages. I will always pay my bill, because food is not the only thing that is being paid for. But I don’t think we will be returning.

Picture attached is the sesame chicken from the buffet. I have no idea what it really is, except it was chewy and I had to spit it out. The sweet and sour pork was even less edible and the rest was extremely underwhelming and borderline tasteless.

I'm picky about Chinese food... I had Fulin not too long ago and it was just awful, I would not go there again. However I am impressed with Kakalots! The lemon chicken and crispy chow mein with beef and broccoli were fresh and delicious! So good. My only issue with it was the high price but as far as delivery goes that's how it is these days and at least it was worth it for once which is often not the case.

Absolutely epic Ginger Beef! Quesnel's best Chinese food as far as we are concerned.

Chicken chow main tasted like boiled noodles with about 20 shreds of chicken that was it, nothing for flavour $13.50. Beef chop suey tasted like fish? $19.00. Dry garlic pork where chunks of fat in a rock hard tooth breaking batter no garlic flavour at all no pork?$16.75. And the Ginger beef could not be chewed due to the leather effect and had no ginger only onions, not a smidge of ginger flavour $19.50. 6.00 delivery fee. 3.74 Taxes $7.00 Tip. Waste of $85. Last Chance. That was just plain nasty… but it was warm. Never again!

I saw some bad reviews but thought I'd give it a chance. Bad decision. This was a waste of $60. Could barely eat half of it. Combo 7 said spicy ginger beef and the 'beef' was breaded little nuggets with zero flavor. Chicken Chow Mein was basic but good. Had real chicken breast sliced on top. Rice was ok but plain. Deep-fried wontons only had about half a teaspoon of filling. The only bonus was the sweet and sour sauce cause without I would have eaten even less of the meal.

Vegetarian options: Tofu Chop Suey was VERY greasy. Tofu was barely edible. Tough on the outside and chewy inside. Veggies were fresh and not overcooked.
