Very disappointed with the mac 'nn cheese I had last night. This is the meal I regularly order when eating out and at everywhere else it is served with an extra, such as garlic bread or cornbread and with cheese baked on top. What I had at Mr Mike's was just a plate of pasta with a tasteless cheese sauce. Way overpriced for what was received.

a group of us went to Mr. Mikes in Quesnel last Sunday for a birthday dinner. The service was amazing! I have been avoiding Mr. Mikes because the last time we went I tried the veggie burger and they were using the Litelife burger, which is horrible. I asked the hostess when we arrived and found out that they now use the Beyond burger so I tried it. It was amazing and the fries were also perfect! nice, crunchy and fresh. I have to apologize as I'd been kinda dissing the place since the last time I went. There are so few places to go in Quesnel for a good veggie burger.

we preordered our food at 1:30pm to be ready at 8:15pm. we arrived at 8:05pm and left at 8:45pm. the bills were all messed up as well as the orders. 6 of our 12 orders were wrong. steaks were cooked wrong, things were missed, and one half order was made full and charged full EVEN though she ordered a half order. the manager would not help the host that was at the front and they were all on their own trying to figure this out. they did their best and we appreciate them (the host).
we pre-order everytime we go out of town as a team and we have never experienced such a mess. we do credit the host (dark hair young guy) who did their best dealing with this mess.
Great burgers and excellent customer service from Ransom. We loved our visit!

While the food didn't taste bad. There is alot of room for improvement. Ceaser salad did not have any dressing, it was pretty much plain lettuce with some parm and croutons. Original burger from days gone.. no where near the original. Patty and bun need the flame broil flavor. Bun is sort of the same as original but definitely not the original. I am probably the wrong person to ask about restaurant reviews, but in general....today's restaurants..all of them, are a disappointment. For the price, just make it at home. Much cheaper and better tasting.

Our waitress was lovely, we were optimistic this would be a nice meal. Everything arrived except my sirloin bites so I said no problem I’ll start on my very small overcooked lukewarm loaded baked potato. About 10-15 minutes and several apologies later the steak bites arrived. Imagine about 15 very over cooked small dry pieces of meat curled up on a plate. The inside as dark and dry as the outside. I thought they would be grilled so I had asked for well done not a fan of red meat. What arrived would not normally be sent out by any kitchen. The waitress apologized several times as she brought them to me and did take them off my bill after asking if I wanted to try again! My friends were finished their meal and it was time to hit the road. You could tell there was a conversation amongst the staff, and there several offers of sympathy from different wait staff. I almost thought they were stopping by to look and see if it was as bad as they had heard! A manager who was part of the conversation kept looking at our table but did not come over. We are all fans of Mr Mikes but won’t be stopping at Quesnel Mr. Mikes anytime soon. Not a good experience.
