A group of us went out for a group bday lunch. I ordered a dish with sauce on the side since I wasn't sure I would like it. The kitchen made a mistake and put the sauce on anyways. I let the server know I would try it since they were busy and it had taken a bit for the food. I tried a few bites but couldn't eat it. I did not take it with me or order anything else as it had already a while and everyone else was finishing up. The server said she would get it taken care of. She then came back and gave me a bill for my meal, which I was surprised about. She said she couldn't do anything and then I asked, even though it was the kitchen's fault, your manager is still going to charge me? She said it wasn't the manager, but the owner, who was standing behind the bar. The server felt terrible and offered to pay for my meal, but obviously I would never let a server suffer just because her boss is a jerk. I paid the bill and tipped the server. $25 isn't going to make or break me, but it's a pretty lousy way to treat staff and customers. I heard that apparently she didn't like our table (I've never been there with that group before) and was annoyed with people. Not sure what that had to do with me and my meal, but there are lots of other local places that offer great food and are happy to have customers.

Seems like whenever we go there for breakfast they are closed with no notice online and nothing posted on the door. Otherwise good food.

We eat there for over a year on a regular basis... but since few months the service is terrible... the waitress rarely came to check at our table if we need something and 80% of time you need to ask for your drink refill. Today my wife and I just leave the place after waiting over 15 minutes for a waitress and the restaurant was not busy at all... only 2 tables including mine. Really pathetic.
We went here for lunch very nice place, it is a very nice clean and quiet place. The food was very good and the portions are quite large great to share. Staff are very friendly prices are good. If you’re in town looking for a place to eat, I definitely recommend The Mill Pub.

Great experience at the Mill Pub! We each had specials, halibut & chips and smoked rack of ribs. Tasty food and well priced. Also on special were Palomas, and they were awesome. To top off the visit, our server, sadly, not sure about her name (maybe True?), was the best! Friendly and attentive, even as the night became quite busy for a Monday. Can't wait to go back! Thank you!
