We eat there for over a year on a regular basis... but since few months the service is terrible... the waitress rarely came to check at our table if we need something and 80% of time you need to ask for your drink refill. Today my wife and I just leave the place after waiting over 15 minutes for a waitress and the restaurant was not busy at all... only 2 tables including mine. Really pathetic.

We went here for lunch very nice place, it is a very nice clean and quiet place. The food was very good and the portions are quite large great to share. Staff are very friendly prices are good. If you’re in town looking for a place to eat, I definitely recommend The Mill Pub.

Great experience at the Mill Pub! We each had specials, halibut & chips and smoked rack of ribs. Tasty food and well priced. Also on special were Palomas, and they were awesome. To top off the visit, our server, sadly, not sure about her name (maybe True?), was the best! Friendly and attentive, even as the night became quite busy for a Monday. Can't wait to go back! Thank you!

Came here for dinner yesterday had the mission burger came back for lunch the next day had the crispy chicken burger. Food was so good. This place is the best food in quesnel hands down

Well, we tried to go this pub for dinner on June 30,2025. We checked the open/close info which said that this pub was open until 10pm. When we arrived just behind two other couples that wanted to dine there as well, all six of us discovered that the pub was not open after all, even though they have a huge illuminated neon sign displaying “PUB” on the front of the building.
None of us were impressed.

This used to be my go to spot in Quesnel however it has gone down hill over the last couple of months. The last two times I’ve eaten here I’ve had food poisoning. Tonight I tried again, hoping that maybe my previous negative experiences were just one offs, however my lamb burger was completely raw on the inside. Very unfortunate that such a great restaurant has dropped this badly in quality.

We’ve always loved The Mill — the service, food, and atmosphere are consistently excellent. That said, I feel it's important to share feedback from a recent visit that left my family hesitant to return.

We ordered the smoked ribeye special at $65. About 15 minutes later, our server let us know they had run out of ribeye and would be substituting striploin instead. We were fine with the switch — things happen — but were surprised that the price remained unchanged at $65.

While we generally find *The Mill* to be fairly priced, charging the same amount for a different, less premium cut just didn’t sit right. It was disappointing, and I do think it’s worth mentioning. A quick adjustment or even an acknowledgment of the price difference would’ve made a big difference.
