Visiting Quesnel for the weekend and had dinner last night which wasn't a great experience.
I ordered calamari as a starter and short rib and mushroom pasta as a main.
All the food arrived at the same time instead of as courses.
The calamari was very heavily breaded and you couldn't really taste the calamari.
Ate 3/4 of the it then found a hair wrapped around one of the tenticles. When our server came over I showed him the hair, explained it wasn't good to start with and we obviously wouldn't be eating any more of it. He apologized and took it back to the kitchen.
The pasta was heavy, quite oily and not well seasoned. There was a lot of meat and mushrooms in it but it all tasted of bland cream sauce.
My daughter said her wings were excellent.
As we finished eating the server brought another portion of calamari which we were too full to eat by that point. If he'd asked me if I wanted it replacing at the time I'd have said no but he didn't ask so I didn't know that was the plan.
Her friend ordered a dessert which took a long time to arrive and ate it with her dirty dinner plate still in front of her as he cleared half the plates but left the others on the table until after we left.
Brought the bill with the calamari on it until I questioned it then he quickly removed it.
He was very pleasant and said he was still training so whoever is training him needs to do a better job.
Overall not a good meal or service so we wouldn't go again

WINGS is one of our family's favorite restaurants in town. From get togethers with out of town friends, to a night out after a hard day's work, the food is always wonderful, and the staff is always friendly. Brandon especially is always an absolute pleasure. His entire demeanor lights up the room. Any time we come in and are sat in his section, I know our service is going to be exemplary and our food is going to be delicious.

Looked at menu online for daily specials,,, went for a Friday night steak special . Waitress advised when we got there on line menu not up to date. It wasn’t even on the in dining menu. In dining menu “ ask waitress for daily specials “ No specials on Friday was the reply Very disappointed . ☹️

Wings was overcooked. They was dry even I took wings with sauce . They even didn't serve any vegetables with them. Lucky it was wednesday and they was only 12 cad(normal 18.5).

We had a table of 10, Brandon was our server and he was fantastic!!! Perfectly attentive and seemed happy we were there. We loved our experience and trying the different wing flavors, will definitely return.

The beginning was nice, seemed like a nice restaurant, but the food was below average and way too expensive, wanted to charge me $10 extra for a poutine instead of regular fries and $7 for an extra burger patty. Server was extremely rude at the end when I didn’t leave a tip, was basically harassed for a tip in front of my family members and felt very embarrassed. Never coming back ✌️
Food kind of tastes like it's from a restaurant supplier. The chili tastes like it was from a bag and my friend had no desire to eat the linguine Alfredo which I thought was alright but she said was inedible. We had to move a table to the fireplace because it was like, 55° in here. The wine special for Tues is nice. The atmosphere is pretty and the girl that was bartending was very sweet. Chili is pretty horrible. The blue cheese was pretty blue cheesy and tasty. Not a culinary beacon.

The wings we had here were great and the service was friendly, however once we got to our entrees all were bad, 3 of us ordered burgers, all of which were dry, tasteless, and had a stale bun. The one of us that ordered the bacon mac and cheese got a watery mess. When mentioned to our server they said they would mention it to management and then sent someone else to give us our bill and never even offered to resolve the situation. We will not be returning
