Avoid at all costs. The food was absolutely terrible. I’ve had better food at BC ferries. So disappointing.

I’m honestly still in disbelief at how we were treated at Conrad Kain in Radium Hot Springs. Our server was extremely rude and condescending. We simply said “excuse me” in a normal tone to get her attention, and she suddenly started yelling and accusing us of shouting at her. It was completely unnecessary and made us feel singled out and uncomfortable.
I don’t understand why our server expected us to know that at that very instant, she was training another employee and not serving and just for reference, it was this morning and she refused to tell her name - she had black hair.
The whole experience felt very unpleasant and unwelcoming — almost as if she had some bias toward us. It ruined what was supposed to be a nice breakfast.
If you expect kindness or even basic courtesy, this is definitely not the place. There are plenty of other restaurants in Radium that actually know what hospitality means. Who knew such a beautiful, welcoming and warm town would have people providing such hospitality.

We had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Conrad Kain in Radium Hot Springs. Our server was shockingly rude and unprofessional. All we did was politely say “excuse me” to get her attention, and she started yelling, accusing us of shouting at her. It was completely unprovoked and humiliating.
Her behavior came across as discriminatory — it genuinely felt like we were being treated differently because of who we are. No customer should ever have to experience that in any restaurant.
We left feeling disrespected and deeply disappointed. The management seriously needs to address this kind of behavior. There are many better restaurants around Radium where guests are treated with basic respect — I’d strongly suggest going elsewhere.
We tried asking her name but she denied the name. From her appearance she had big lips and black hair
PS: Don’t visit this place. This was an empty place.

My wife and I had an extremely upsetting experience at this restaurant. She politely said “excuse me” to get a waiter’s attention, and shockingly, the staff member shouted at us, accusing us of yelling. We were completely taken aback — we spoke calmly and respectfully.
What made it worse was the tone and attitude, which felt not just rude but discriminatory. No guest should ever be made to feel small, humiliated, or disrespected for simply asking for service. It ruined what should have been an enjoyable breakfast
I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior of staff who clearly needs training in respect and basic hospitality.

The server was extremely rude and shouted at us when we said “excuse me”. She shouted at us right when we were starting to eat and said “I am training someone”. I dont like anyone calling me when i am in the middle of something. She clearly was racist and kept on fighting even when we mentioned we would like to eat in peace

Conrad's has an interesting modern interior, staff is friendly and very accommodating, food menu is an interesting combination of burgers, Italian and Philippino, all of it good. Especially loved breakfast. Say Hello to Humberto! Our favorite person there 😉

The food was far below mediocre! I had a burger with fries. The burger itself was ok…once you found the meat in the middle of the bun. The fries were terrible…I mean, one could literally make McCains frozen fries and be 10 times better!
My husband had a jambalaya…pretty sure the ‘sauce’ was Campbells tomato soup with some spices added for flavor and a few pieces of shrimp and clam dredged through.
Server was nice…but overall service was so slow!
Could hardly wait to get out of there.
For the prices they ask I would just save your money and stop at a McDonalds down the road.

Really nice place to come and grab something after a soak in the hot springs. Menu is very good, everything is labeled very very well. Having a food sensitivity this make it super easy. Honestly to I didn’t think I’d get a good pad Thai in a small town in the Rocky Mountains but was extremely surprised.

Our first time here.
Friendly service.
Didn't had to wait long for food.
We shared the fish and chips, which was nice, just the coleslaw portion could have been double.
The small mixed salad was very good and plenty to share with delicious vinegarette.

We had a wonderful dining experience. The location is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
Special thanks to Chef Shawn, who prepared the most delicious ribeye I’ve ever had it was tender, juicy, and truly melted in the mouth. My wife had the pasta, which was also excellent, but the ribeye is definitely a must-try specialty here.
A big shoutout as well to bartender Frogy, who made the evening even more enjoyable with great service and hospitality.
Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!
