Stopped here for a late breakfast during our trip and what a wonderful place to be. The gentleman serving us was so polite. Coffee was amazing and my Salmon Bagel was outstanding. What a very cozy place to sit and enjoy breakfast. Would definitely come back if we are traveling there again.

Great breakfast place. I like the rustic decor and enjoy viewing/reading all the memorabilia on the walls.

Servers were super quick and on the ball.
Had the soup of the day. Pork and vegetable. Good. Hearty. Like grandmas.
Hubby ordered the blt and poutine, real brown gravy, real curds, thick cut bacon.
Is the ketchup house made ?
This is diner/cafe food done well. Done proper. Done right. Would 100% come back in revelstoke.
Well done chef.

I have mixed feelings on this one. We showed up as a group of 4, had to wait 10 minutes when we saw a table for 4 inside that was unoccupied. Anyways, once seated and orders placed we waited for an hour to get our food when it didn’t seem that busy. Also one of us ordered a coffee which never came, and 45 minutes after waiting we asked our waiter (an older gentleman) if the coffee was coming as it had been a while and he realized he had forgot to bring it. Once the coffee hit our table it tasted like hot water, the coffee was so weak we were sure they gave us the wrong thing. They gave us a new coffee canister and it repeated to taste like hot water. Probably the weakest coffee any of us have ever had in a restaurant. Anyways the food arrived 60 minutes later total, it was underwhelming by that point.
I really enjoyed my mama bear with French toast, bacon, eggs and homemade sausage. However my peers weren’t too happy with their burnt toast and cold hashbrowns.
I think we wouldn’t have minded the wait if we were told up front they were low on staff or whatever it was that made the order take an hour. I’ve been a cook myself for over a decade so I get it, but communication and kindness goes a long way. Which unfortunately our older server didn’t do. However the young ladies working seemed like they were doing their best to keep things afloat!

Super long wait for the food (about an hour) and the place is half full.

Server was friendly, but food was really not great. Fries were over cooked, kids burger was literally a patty in a bun (no condiments or cheese on it), and chicken burger and pulled pork did not have a great flavor. 2 meals + 2 kids meals + drinks was $81. Definitely not worth the price.

most epic hot sauce collection. great vegetarian options
Extremely rude guy server/owner.
Very dirty cutlery, the spoon was sticky and had coffee stains. Very bad food with dense pancakes and bad sausage. Very understaffed and very slow service. Eating at McDonald’s is better than eating there according to the guy who served us.
