Overrated , first time here it was packed, good atmosphere, first drink was made completely wrong, orderd gravy, didn't get it, but was charged for it. They give tons of frys, but there soggy and unsalted, beef dip was decent, server checked in maybe twice

Great place, location and atmosphere. I got the mushroom swiss burger with peppercorn sauce, unfortunately any flavour of the burger was overpowered by the large amount of peppercorn’s, it felt like 5+ in every bite. Once I picked them out I was able to taste the flavour and the burger was great! Im extremely disappointed in the service. Our server came twice, the first time we had been sat down for maybe 3 minutes and she just stared at us after we ordered our initial drinks waiting for our food order. We asked for a few minutes and she came back, took our order and that was the last we saw of her for 40 more minutes. Until we had to try and find her to wave her down for the bill we were waiting 30 minutes for. She seated 2 other tables and checked out 2 other groups while we tried to get her attention. And once we got the bill we saw they charge extra for refills which was never mentioned, and we couldn’t ask her about it. Because she walked away again. They were all very friendly staff! That just really disappointed me and ruined my experience.

Loved the place and the food in our very first visit. Ambiance and service were great and food was absolutely delicious. Fish and chips were served hot and fresh, crunchy and the soup of the day was refreshing. Our server was really friendly. We would definitely visit again whenever we’d be in Revelstoke next time.

Showed up with my dog and 4 of us. They said its illegal to have dogs on the patio in BC.... its definitely not. Could just say they dont like dogs on their patio thats fine. Dont try and tell people its illegal.

This the 3rd time we've been here and the absolute last. Ordered a bourbon peach schnapps ice tea. I take a sip theres no liquor in it..... like none. Bourbon has a distinct taste. There's nothing.

I tell the waitress she decides to argue with me and look at me like im crazy and tell me there's a 1.5o in it. Im like well there isnt. She walks away.

20 mins later im done my meal and she comes back with a new drink apologizing she forgot to put the liquor in my drink 😑😑😑.

Anyways bad service. Not great food. And they lie. Would not recommend ever.

Ohh and it's ridiculously cold inside the building allll the time.

We were in Revelstoke for several days (staying at the Lamplighter Campground which is quite close to the big Eddie pub) and ended up eating at the big Eddie several times. The service was universally good. The menu was good and varied, and the atmosphere was always fine. Definitely I recommend.
